Is anyone here doing TeeSpring Campaings?

I'm getting 2 to 3 successful Teespring campaigns for every 10 tries! Yes, it's not easy but it's all worth it!

I was involved in writing sales copy for a teespring copy site.

The truth is it won't make you money unless you can get it to go viral.

The teespring game is not a get rich quick business. Although you can get lucky and have a shirt that sells well but in order to hit the big numbers you need a big budget because if you have a selling shirt you need to show it to as many of your audience as possible and that costs money. You must higher a professional designer to design for you and you must know the niche you are going after really well. You need to spend a lot of time researching so you can find the audience that will be interested in your shirt. I personally know people who are making a 6 figure income but they have a team and they spend a lot of money. Just like anything, it takes money to make money. I have made decent money but not consistent money. I'm in the middle of launching 95 designs right now and the reason for this is to find a few winners that I can then make sales long term. This is also a business of patience. You have to know that money is going to go out before it comes back and it may be a lot of money. I went 36 campaigns without a single profit but then I hit a shirt that made up for all those losses. Somedays you will have great sales and other days you will have none. Its frustrating but if you can deal with all that then you can be successful.

TeeSpring is good for making a bit of extra cash. Yes there will be some campaigns that will not work out but you have to keep going. What I did was find Facebook groups for old TV shows from the 70s/80s that I was interested in, made a few posts to build rapport with the members and then design t-shirts with famous quotes from the series. I didn't make a fortune but some nice side money.

Well, we did not make any money. Frankly, we lost money.

Ah, would you believe that I have lost count of how many.

3) What are your tips for being successful at Tee Spring selling.
Truly, I wish I had one.

4) What works for you?
I use to sell T-shirts in a flea market years ago. Kids like bright colors and music. Yeah, musical T-shirts were a big hit with the little ones.

Seobro, thanks for your refreshingly honest answers. I've never done Teespring, but I suspect that it, like many other online ventures, takes time, patience, luck and getting your shirts in front of people at the right time and place.

Still, as someone who loves silly tshirts, it looks like a fun way to earn a little extra money, especially if you have sharp wit and a wicked sense of humor.

I started teespring business in nov 2014 and till now i lost much more on different campaigns,niches, designs etc. After long time and research i am able to sell t-shirts.
There are many things important in tee business like niche, design and most important targeting.
If you are trying on broad or competitive niches you need 1 year+$5000 in your pocket to get success. Low competitive and sub niches always converts best for beginners. So i found some useful free and tools that help me a lot and after that i sold 50+ shirts last month.

When I first started, I throw everything at these shirts. I thought witty, I thought political, I thought local. And I failed each time.

Last week I had 5 campaigns tip. My secret to success....

Before designing a shirt, plan how you are going to TARGET your audience!!!! You might have the best design but if the wrong people are seeing it, then you are not going to profit. So when I think of an idea, I think first how to market, how many people are in that group, how much competition is there? etc.

Then I always 15 dollar test. If 1 or less sale. Its gets forgotten.

2-4 sales- I review my facebook stats and retarget.

4 or more I kick it up to 30.

I push Tee Spring. Happy to give you a few tips.

You need to begin with a strong foundation:

1. Niche Social Platforms
2. High-Engagement
3. Big Platforms (10K+)

Example:

- MMORPG gamers
- High like, comment, share counts on updates
- 25K likes to Facebook page

Once you have the foundation:

1. Know your audience
2. Look out for trends
3. Examine Insights, to gauge posts getting highest engagement
4. Base Tees on 1 to 3
5. Custom Design (use Fiverr.com - cheap & custom)

My humble advice on this whole Tee-Spring phenomenom:

Don't put all of your eggs in the Tee Spring basket. Most people succeeding with it are relying on Facebook ads exclusively and by doing so are operating on a foundation built on sand.

Today you may spend $500 on ads in Facebook and net $250 in t-shirt sales, but tomorrow you could wake up to check your campaigns only to see the dreaded pink message saying "your account has been flagged for unusual activity and your ads are no longer running."

If or when that happens, you are out of business.

Like I said, people are crushing it with tee-spring, but make it a complement to your business and not your only stream of income.

With all that said, every time I see my dad, he's wearing a t-shirt he bought off of a teespring campaign from facebook - so take it for what it is lol
