PrestaShop VS WooCommerce

Hey Warriors!

I'm wondering if anyone here has used PrestaShop, or WooCommerce before or both.
Would you recommend them, or share your experience with either?
Or recommend anything else?

Bearing in mind I'd like to use something free to start with.

I want to use one with WordPress, but wanted to know other people's opinions on both or other eCommerce sites before I go much further.

Thanks in advance

Hi - no time to go into details, but I have several years of experience with PS, and if I were starting a new site, I'd go with a WP system (there are lots of them, not just woocommerce, so look around). TBH, I haven't actually used any of the WP EC systems on a live site (though I plan to do so soon), but I use WP and plugins for lots of other purposes and generally find them to be superior to most other solutions, unless you're spending $$$ with a developer. While PS has its advantages and the base package is free, I find it a bit clunky, not as flexible as it should be, and you're always looking at more $$$ when you need to add almost any functionality beyond what's included in the basic package. Just my $0.02, hope it helps!

I've been looking at themes and some of them come "bundled" with WooCommerce or another store integrated with it already so that's the other reason I was asking. Otherwise I'll just get a theme, then add an eCom plugin that I like.

But thanks for that, I'll keep looking around for a bit
