which of these do you want...?

Hey Warriors,

I'm working on several different projects and was hoping to get some feedback from you about which one would you want to get your hands on first. =]

Here's a brief description. Feel free to comment on one or all of them!

1. A series of interviews with experts. Each one 60-90 mins covering affiliate marketing, list building, getting started, getting JVs, etc.

2. Twitter software. Automates adding followers from multiple accounts, sends tweets to multiple accounts with a few clicks, unfollows people not following you after a few days of you following them, so your list can grow bigger, and sends tweets to multiple accounts at set days/times (like christmas, 4th of July, etc.)

3. Split testing script. Let's you rotate as many urls as you'd like easily so you can see what price, headline, guarantee, PS, etc. works the best. (easy to use).

4. Cloaking software. Puts an opt in or video or other offer on the affiliate's site, plus cloaks your link, plus has an exit pop up, plus tracking on those pages.

5. Clickbank script. With this info and script, you can put your product on the top of clickbank and get a ton of free affiliates promoting your product.

6. Thirty day marketing. A collection of videos teaching fast cash techniques only.

Any feedback is appreciated! =]

          Hi Mike!

I have to strongly disagree here.
Google for "30 days make money" or anything similar
and you'll see countless listings of ebooks, programs and courses. Yikes!

Most of the stuff out there is crap, however there are some
good ones too. However lots of folks have purchased products
on the subject and gotten burnt, and are now moving on to other
more attractive products. The marketplace is overcrowded,
and you're other 5 ideas are great so focus on those first!

          2. Twitter software.
          Awesome idea!

Twitter is so freakin hot right now! In fact I hear
the tv newscasters, and Good Morning America hosts
always talking about Twitter, as does Ellen (the Ellen Show)
and other talk show hosts. Everyone LOVES Twitter
and it's so cool and simple... and using it to make money
is an awesome and HOT HOT HOT idea.

          3. Split testing script.
There's a lot of mediocre ad tracking and split testing scripts
out there right now. If you can come up with a great unique USP
and offer more and better features, (including being Web 2.0
friendly, SEO friendly and social networking marketing friendly)
then you can stomp on all the others and sell to practically
every IM'er... most would gladly plop down some cash
for a great ad tracking / split testing tool. Easy to sell!

The topics you mentioned, JVs and such, have been way overdone in interviews. Won't sell well if you make it a yet-another-interviews-product. But, if you focus your interviews on topics such as Web 2.0, Social Networking Marketing, and the newest SEO, then your interviews product will be much more appealing!

Keep in mind that it's virtually impossible to get this type of product listed on Google with high SERPs (SERP = search engine ranking position) therefore it will be burried in a sea of zillions of other similar products.

I know a company that pays $100k per month (to a SEO marketing firm) to keep them listed at the top of Google for keywords like mortgage, and home loan. (the company does over $10 million per month from Internet leads, so $100k is chump change for them)

      Now that's competitive keywords!

The original poster is going to find that achieving high SERPs for his keywords will be near impossible, unless he has a super huge monthly budget. Also, for reasons I mention in my above posting, I believe this product idea isn't as good as the original poster's other 5 ideas.

Holy $#@!! If you can get my site to the top of my category in the Clickbank marketplace, I'll buy this script. However, before purchasing I'll want to see proof (from real people) that this does indeed work. And if it works, then I'm gonna race to your shopping cart.

This product, if you can indeed write a script to do this, would appeal to the huge audience of clickbank merchants!

Greed is one of the easiest emotions to tap into since people are motivated by greed...so #6 should do well.

#5 is interesting. Since there's only 9 categories, how do you plan on selling it to more than 9 people and actually having it work for everyone?

I'd say to find your USP (unique selling proposition) for each of them and what sets you apart from the competition and start with the ones that aren't already out there yet or offer something unique and different nobody else offers.

IMO interviews are great when they are condensed and directly to the point. Thinly veiled and fluffy upsells don't go down well. Bonus points for transcripts.

There will always be a market for automating the manipulation of online services for financial gain.

    3. Split testing script. Let's you rotate as many urls as you'd like easily so you can see what price, headline, guarantee, PS, etc. works the best. (easy to use).
Now that may be useful, if it handled the stats correctly and made proper use of α and β errors. Is Wordpress integration an option?

    4. Cloaking software. Puts an opt in or video or other offer on the affiliate's site, plus cloaks your link, plus has an exit pop up, plus tracking on those pages.
Looks like a useful piece of kit. Especially the tracking. Something I haven't seen yet is an easy way to link a search keyword to a unique tracking ID so one can tell which keywords are selling (and not just hopping). Any ideas?

    5. Clickbank script. With this info and script, you can put your product on the top of clickbank and get a ton of free affiliates promoting your product.
I guess this will be expensive as you can only sell one copy. After all, there is only one "top of Clickbank".

    6. Thirty day marketing. A collection of videos teaching fast cash techniques only.
Sometimes I think that a product's sales page teaches me more about marketing than the product itself. Only one way to find out. Refund policy?

    Any feedback is appreciated! =]

Wow!! Thank you everyone for all the great feedback. It's been great hearing your thoughts and advice on everything listed. I will definitely be taking action on it.

Funny side thought. A few people mentioned the clickbank software only working for one person since there's only one "first place" on clickbank. Good point, and I'm glad it was brought up here (pre-product) so that I can know to address it in the sales letter.

The way clickbank works with this software is two fold. First, there's tons of categories in clickbank, not just internet marketing. Each of these have 'top results'. Also, affiliates researching products to promote look at different ratings clickbank offers, like gravity. This script helps you improve those tremendously.

I'd explain more, but want to keep the technique known only to buyers of the software.

Thanks again everyone for pitching in. If you have more thoughts, keep em coming!

    My favourites are:

    2. Twitter software. --> Definitely my cup of tea. I would really prefer the twitter software cos twitter is THE trend now. If I'm able to build up a following on Twitter and be able to leverage on this list just by using one software, that's gonna be worth my every single cent.

    5. Clickbank script. --> helps me to build up my affiliate army, why not?

    6. Thirty day marketing. --> Fast cash certainly pushed the HOT button there.

    Cheers,
    Patricia

I agree with some earlier posts that said "6. Thirty day marketing" is over saturated. Also, the target audience is mostly tire kickers and not buyers. (they're the polar opposite of "marketers" who are more prone to take out their credit card when they see a useful script or course) Also this low-end audience is prone to high amount of refunds. Get ready for chargebacks and paypal disputes galore (even if your product is great) from that audience. I sold ebay training vids to them and they're the worst with respect to wanting to keep the product on their pc then get a refund. They're the opposite of Internet Marketers who are better customers, especially with higher ticket items.

Some have said this product appeals to more buyers, but that's true only if you have a very low price (even $29 is too high; try $17 or better yet $7) and the truth of the matter is that you can sell a load at $7 or $17 and deal with massive refunds problem, and at the end of the day make the same amount as if you sold just a few of a higher pricepoint item; or, you can sell a different (more mature) product to a more mature and intelligent audience, at a higher pricepoint.... and you'll have less refunds, more upsells and backend sales, and make much more money. And the "lifetime value of your customer" will be much higher.

    Executive summary:

With the 30 day /quick cash products you're "slummin" so to speak. While selling at a very low pricepoint you're going to get all the backlash. (refunds/disputes/pirating/product-sharing-with-their-friends) However with a more mature product that you'd sell at a higher pricepoint, you can expect more sales, more profits and less time & hassle in dealing with refunds etc. (you'll note that virtually all of the gurus and all the "product launches" are for items that cost $97 and up, and lately over a $thousand)

My advice is to put all your eggs into the Twitter software.
(and let me know if you decide *not* to do that one,
because I'd consider creating/selling that sort of product!)

    Mark

I like the idea of the 30 day training, but it would have to be priced or made in a way that 'forces' people to follow it, because the nature of the beast is to buying something and not follow through with it.

Twitter is insane right now. I read about a footballer dissing his manager on it today. Talk about airing your laundry in public.

If you want I'll beta test anything you create? Maybe I'm the first to ask
