How important is 30% article uniquness?

I wrote a nice long (approx 1550 word) how to article for a niche. I spun it, and I mean I SPUN IT. I put spin text {term1|term2|term3} everywhere from 2-10+ synonyms. The spinner changes the color of spun text to blue, and the thing is almost all blue. The thing is that the software is reporting only 20% uniqueness. I have changed not only words but entire sentences. I can't see how it isn't at least 30% unique.

Is this okay??

Check it at copyscape or get dupefree pro and check your articles. The more original the content the better, you should also check the research that goes into articles that you intend on spinning.

They are part of a demonstration for one of his products Content Mania.

Zero percent (and I only typed it out because "0%" was too short to post). But of course, it depends on what you're trying to accomplish with the content.

Did you try spinning texts within a text? That means creating variables within a variable (nested variables)?

And variables within the variable of a variable? Try getting more of this up.
And you will see your uniqueness go higher.

I'm not sure what software you use. I'm using Power Article Rewriter which
makes the article spinning really easy.

Quite a lot of effort is required though. And I usually stop when
I'm around 40% uniqueness.

It should passed copy scape in order to know how many percent is the uniqueness and originality on your articles.

If you often spin the articles and have been doing it for a while, it would take you only 30min-45mins to spin a 400 words articles with over 40% unique.

That's what I often do, used to it.

copyscape uses a simple shingle to detect plagiarism. Search engines are rather more complicated. 30% is what I find works right now - it may need to be upped in the future.

The difference between spun versions of a jet spinner article can often be not as extreme as you'd like, but as long as they are over 20% (IMHO) it's better than not being different.

Modern jet spinners support 'randomizer' enhancements - this is an easy way to vastly increase the difference between spins with no extra work (it drops sentences according to your specification - read about it here http://www.contentboss.com/jetspinner-enhancements.php )
