Do You Find This Godaddy Practice Annoying?

When Godaddy calls you at home especially when there is no discernible reason for it?

I consider Godaddy to be equivalent to a hooker, though I admit this probably isn’t the most appropriate comparison. But I provide them with money in exchange for services and would prefer to keep them at arms length and not have them phoning when there really isn’t any emergency. I renew expiring domains or plan to (if I wish to keep them) so really don’t get the whole “we’ll call you for no apparent reason and raise a bunch of questions about what you are up to online even though it’s completely unnecessary.”

I have asked them not to call as I do receive promotional e-mails from them, but apparently this hasn’t been heeded and sometimes they call “just because” not offering any sort of deals/discounts or there being any particular reason for their call. It’s gotten to the point that I seriously considered taking my business elsewhere over it. Some people might think me mad or that I’m overreacting, but I have seriously felt violated and like personal/professional lines were breached.
