What I've learned about Internet Marketting

I have been trying to get into what many of you call "The Internet Dream" and unfortunately have lost a lot of money, and time, on these get rich quick schemes and other online services that simply make no profit for anyone except the person selling the idea to you.

Now for the good news. What all of this has taught me aside from the obvious that these schemes and techniques to get rich quick are BS is that there is a way to make money online and it has been spit at me in every form and phrase on the internet and most, including me, try to avoid it. Give the viewers/internet customers SOMETHING THAT THEY ACTUALLY WANT.

Stop going for these get rich quick schemes, buying turnkey websites and the other offers you may have received. For most they simply will not work. Instead of wasting your time and most commonly your cash, find something that actually interests you and either the customer as well or something that fulfills a need for the customer. You get that and not only will you have fun doing it, but you will be passionate about it which will make your work enjoyable while still retaining profit.

I'm not claiming to be an expert, I am not. I simply wanted to post this here as a result of what I have learned and hope that others who read this will learn at least something.

If you want to get rich on the internet, you need to work very hard for a very long time. If anyone ever had a way to get Rich quick, they would do that, not sell it to you for $49.99.

      Spot on.

One of the rare things to avoid in life are the people that sell you cheap tips on how to become rich. One big truth.

That philosophy been around for a long time now (relative to advancements).

That is what is the correct strategy NOW.

What will be the optimal strategy in 1 year? Video is becoming much more popular for one.

Another thing I've learned is whether you pay $10 or 10 million dollars for a get rich, make money or extra income plan ..

... "You or someone you hire will have to work (usually very hard) to make a consistent return".

I would venture to wager if most so-called get rich quick or make money plans had the above disclaimer most people would be less apt to think they were scammed. The others would simply run for the hills screaming for their momma.

Not to say their isn't a lot of scams floating around. But what a lot of people are quick to call scams is just something that requires what any business requires ... Hard work, Skill and Time.

That's the attitude I take, no matter how "quick or easy" the sales video or letter says it is.

It's ironic that the person selling the get rich quick scheme is actually running a get rich quick scheme by selling it. The profits may differ, but I know of some people who have cleaned up and made some nice bank performing such actions.

Unfortunately the IM / MMO arena is (in large part) a cesspool of scumbags who know how to write persuasive sales copy with only one goal in mind: to take advantage of others' dreams of making money online and to do nothing more than separate them from their money. I've fallen for plenty of these schemes too. One thing I've come to realize is that the snake oil salesman wants to stay anonymous - he wants to take your money but doesn't want you to know who he really is. On ALL of my sales pages I always include my personal email address that a person can use to ask me questions directly and KNOW that I am real. On my "thank you" pages (after a person has opted in for my lead magnet) I have a welcome video. My video is simply me sitting in my office introducing myself so people can see me - I'm real, I have a name, hear my voice and see my face; although seeing my face aint such a treat :-) It's that whole "know, like and trust" thing. Unless a marketer has a reputation like an Eben Pagan for example, I won't touch 'em with a 10' pole if they don't make it easy as heck to email them, see them on their YT channel or otherwise know who they are. Just my 2 pennies.

Other than that, NEVER give up. Believe in yourself and in your goal / dream of making a full time income on line and keep at it until you do...

You have been here about 1 1/2 months. During that time you have lost a lot of money with programs that do not work? I believe that you haven't given what you've tried a fair shot.

A lot of money = how many WSOs? How many did you work exactly according to the instructions versus looking ahead for the next thing?

6 weeks isn't long enough to put ONE WSO, in most cases, through its paces.

The second thing is that you haven't realized the real truth yet. People, including you, want the dream, the fix, the quick money and they spend a lot of money to get it. Even though deep down the common sense side of them says this probably won't work either they give it one last shot and then they go on to give something else another shot. On and on and on.

That's what they want - a quick fix in many cases. They don't want to buckle down and work hard and get their hands dirty. They want it done for them and yesterday.

Now the ethics, morals, legality, etc. from the vendor side are a totally different story. On the one hand it might be wrong in some sense but on the other hand they are feeding a want. They are selling hope.

I really think you should take a hard look at what went wrong with your 6 week experiment and don't say you failed because all the programs suck and none of them work. That's not fair.

    Congratulations, you've cracked the code.

What people want & what they need are usually two different things.

When it comes down to it, working online is really no different than working a offline business. All the charisma, smarts, business acumen, drvie, etc are required and often even MORE so since anyone with an Internet connection can more or less "compete".

Internet Marketing does not pay an hourly wage.

You should expect to make as much as you earn from a real job and only if you work hard and learn a whole lot. If you accomplish this much, you're doing better than most.

I have never seen a WSO that I reviewed which was completely devoid of any worthwhile information. Simply, most buyers WANT an easy way to make money and by training, sellers appeal to that want. Since you're not buying the truth, how can you call sellers scammers because they appeal to the only thing you respond to? LOL!

This issue is always going to be evident. I have been peddling truth for years and few have come my way. But whenever someone peddles out BS you guys come in droves! So "NO", I don't pity you. If you're not reasonable enough to know what you want and grow up from your money-making overnight immaturity, then you deserve to suck mud until your stomach bursts from low strata indulgence.

Internet Marketing is SIMPLE. Until you come to that realization, you shouldn't put money or waste your time/life ignorantly into it.

If sellers peddle BS, that is because you guys WANT it! If you only purchase goods and services that are exactly what you NEED, then you wouldn't have this issue. Simply, we are not natural buyers - we buy (want) what we do not need.

If you would STOP before clicking the buy now button and simply ask the question "Do I NEED this for my business?" (NEED means that you have analyzed your business and determined that you are missing some functionality in order to make more money) then, you would most likely not click that button (saving you hundreds of dollars in "worthless" WSOs - and not because they are indeed worthless, but because they are indeed worthless for "YOU" because you do not NEED them).

In short, don't blame sellers, blame buyers - "without the clicker, they'd be no sticker" professorrosado
