Instant Paypal Affiliate Scripts

I saw some sites using an Instant Paypal Affiliate script for membership sites. The script pays out an x% of sales (the direct sale and residual income).

I wanted to set up this program for my upcoming membership site but I was wondering what is the name of this script, or if they are any out there? Also, can this script deliver x% payments of back-end offers as well?

sure it's a great script. I didn't read through the whole salesletter, but it seems like a comprehensive solution, theres no "cheaper" alternative out there that just works as an affiliate program.

Perhaps something like idevaffiliate but with instant payouts? I am using amember so I'm not really looking for a new membership script.

Craig,

RAP will do exactly what you are looking for and then some. Great thing is, once you buy it, you can set it up as many times as you want. Use it for memberships (you need the RAP Members Package), use it for list building (think giveaways) and the features are beyond compare.

If you want to understand what it will do, take time to read the whole sales page.

PayDotCom does NOT pay instant commissions. Merchants can use Paypal to pay affiliates, but must do so by periodically creating MassPay files

Also, does your script integrate with already existing membership sites
(ex: I am currently using amember and would hate for it to go to waste, can I use your script and set up affiliate program but use amember to handle sales or will it be incompatible b/c they're 2 separate scripts?)

As for your question here...
I'm afraid I really can't give a definitive answer, simply because I know little about how aMember works, and I don't want to give you false info.

The chances of being able to handle sales and affiliate management using RAP, with aMember registration being the "deliverable", are very good. However, RAP isn't going to be able to manage affiliates if it is not also handling the sales functions.

I've always wondered how refunds are handled on instant affiliate payout - ie. if a sale is refunded, does that mean I am just out the affiliate commission and I can't recall that payment back?

There are a couple of ways to handle this - one being your own suggestion.

For inexpensive products, you might just refund the customer, and move on.

However, more expensive products require a more professional approach with your affiliates.

First, put an affiliate agreement on your affiliate sign up page. Make sure that your affiliates understand they are responsible for any refund requests from their customers. They are paid directly by the customer for their share of sales, so it is an easy matter for them to log into their Paypal account and refund the purchase. RAP is notified of this, and will automatically "bump" that affiliate to receive the next payment, so that commissions are kept in line.

If the affiliate does not honor your guarantee, then you have 2 choices again...

1. You can pay the customer out of your pocket and then Ban the affiliate. Once the affiliate is banned they receive no more payments, as subsequent sales with his/her affiliate ID revert to the merchant.
2. You can advise the customer to request the refund directly from the affiliate (in most cases they will have done this anyway, because that's who they paid) via Paypal. Assuming the affiliate has no desire to have their Paypal account canceled - they will issue the refund.

So, if I have RAP set up for 100% of 50% of sales, then RAP will adjust the pay to address depending on the cycle? If I am next to receive the payment from that particular affiliate, the customer will pay me directly? Then on the next sale from that affiliate, RAP will set to pay to address directly to the affiliate's PP account? Am I uderstanding that right?
