Finding Affilates In NON MMO Niche?

So I just launched my dog training website brightdog.com and I am trying to find the best way to get affiliates to promote it for me. I have an extremely good product, over 150 videos, and what I believe to be a good sales funnel $7-$147-$37 m/o- $497, I just don't know how to find people to promote it for me.

It seems like everywhere I look the only thing people are interested in promoting is MMO niche. Is there any websites you guys know of that helps you connect with people in other niches?

Thanks!

-Alex

Alex, Have you tried Google searching other products in your niche? Usually you can find a lot of affiliates by searching similar products. This will lead you to affiliate review sites. This is a little more difficult but it can work.

Also, have you reached out directly to other product creators in your niche? You could go on clickbank, JVzoo or similar and find other product vendors in the niche. These could be potential affiliattes to promote your product as well. Sounds like you have a really great funnel ready to go!

What is the best way / proper to approach a "strangers" site? Just straight up email them and ask to promote?

Just ask them. Random people do it to me a lot in IM. You should be aware that they will probably want to check out the product before they promote it. If it's a good product, this shouldn't be an issue because marketers are always looking for new, relevant, and quality stuff to promote to their list. You should also look for some jv launch boards in your niche. Visit some forums in your niche and ask them how they find out about stuff.

The issue is not just finding affiliates; you need an offer that is proven to convert. The sales page is more important than the quality of the product in most cases; a potential affiliate is not going to spend time/money sending traffic unless they think it's worth their time.

Put your product inside jvzoo, warriorplus, and clickbank, then see if you can attract affiliates there.
