What is the best way to go about email marketing?

I was thinking, wouldn't it be best to spend some time creating your email series to last for say 1 year? if you had it set up for an entire year you would be able to focus on other stuff like generating more leads and opt ins.

I haven't started with email marketing yet, I've only managed to get 53 opt ins in a couple of days, so i'm trying to learn as much as i can before i start.

Also say if you are in the weight loss niche..what kind of products would be best to promote? How about weight loss plr ebooks?

    Even if you have a series that lasts an entire year...you should still frequently send broadcast messages with fresh insights and news.

    Your list will quickly know they are getting a "canned series" if you don't add some freshness factor.

    Your goal is to motivate customers to purchase your products.

    The biggest mistake many marketers make is focusing on data & numbers - how many opt-ins, how often letters are sent, how many emails to write.

    The problem is, we don't think about what happens AFTER the email is opened, and the CONTENT.

    How focused is the email on your customer's needs?

    How smoothly does the content flow, and is it easy to read?

    The single most important factor in success of an email campaign is TARGETED CONTENT.

    The best way to do email marketing is to focus on figuring out what your customers want in their inbox, and the best way to feed them what they're looking for.

    Be careful with your list's expectations. If you're capable on fulfill them, then you are able to count on a positive campaign.

    you should do this and at the same time continue to increase your list

    emailing every day is going to better. Its more personal

    If you rush through a years worth of emails they will look rushed, and your list will sense it.

    But if you are trying to get someone to buy a product of yours and you move them from free list to buyers list. Then only have 7 days on that free list.

    If they dont buy after 7 days just leave it.
