measuring conversion rates

Hi guys, I'm very green when it comes to copywriting, and am looking to get my hands dirty.

One of the things I'm most interested in is how to track conversion of work you do. Are there websites where you can test articles and/ or sales letters, and also somehow figure out how your conversions do (or would, hypothetically?)

I did my best to read through the stickies and had difficulty finding info on this. If anyone can respond it'd greatly help me out, and also please try to "dumb it down" for a newbie.

Much gratitude

you want a tracking platform, the best right now is clickmagick

    clickmagick dot com

Create a link for all the content you do, label it, and then watch as the traffic comes in .

Why don't you just put up test pages and buy traffic to run through them?

The services you mentioned are very speculative and would be of limited value since traffic blends differ

Also, you need statistically significant samples

This is a KEY stumbling block
