A number of ways including starting a blog and over time securing traffic and building a list and marketing in this manner

Also, in conjunction you can use FB( Fan Pages) and build traffic that way. And filter them off to your Blog.

Many do not have any blogs at all and just have Fan Pages with an Optin on them

If you're totally new . . .

1. Blog.
2. Monetized blog posts.
3. Share the blog posts on socials.
4. Grow pages and groups on socials.

There are folks making a great deal more than $100 using just that simple model. Best of luck!

I just dont get it why people give advice on starting a blog or a facebook fanpage. Both those will take years to build. That has to be the worst advice.

Your first 100 will happen when you build a list. Then rotate either CPA offers or your own products to that list.

Its that simple

There are literally countless ways to make money online, and a $100 is a very reasonable goal for your first week.

Let me ask you a question OP, what are you in for? A quick buck or establishing a solid online business which generates revenue over and over again?

I don't know many people who made any decent income online without putting hard work into it. You need to be dedicated. You can do it as a part time job, or a side gig to supplement for your 9 to 5 job, but if you have no serious intention of putting time into it, just quit while you're ahead, at least you'll be saving your time.

Here are 5 quick ways to make money online:

1. Fiverr
2. Arbitrage (eBay, Fiverr, craigslist, etc.)
3. Writing/Researching/Proofing/etc. for other IM'ers
4. eLance and the like - a bit slower but more money
5. Complete offers - surveys, write reviews, etc.

If you put your head to it, and google the above topics (no need to buy anything), you'll bank $100 or more in 3-4 days if you're a total newbie.

Agree with the main thrust of this post but need a little qualification

1/ Fiverr Its getting harder by the day, sure there are thousands of buyers but tens of thousands of sellers are coming forward.

2/ Arbitrage This works! It takes a whole heap of work though. Pitching for a $50 logo job requires you to have a comprehensive portfolio showing high quality designs. Anything less and you will be wasting your time.

3/ Writing etc. Again a ton of work for not too much money.

4/ Elance etc. Hard to get a foot in the door unless you have a really strong resume, cv.

5/ Reviews, surveys... Probably better to get a proper job than get paid $1 an hour doing this.

List building is by far the best way to go but you need a high degree a technical skill to build landing pages, sales funnels etc. or the money to buy it. You will also need traffic and if you are serious about it you will buy this too so more money needed for that.

Are you kidding me ?

Building a Fan Page its relatively super quick if you know what you are doing.

Utilize FB Ad platform and you can get a Fan Page up and going really quickly and effectively.

I agree with. When I first started I followed the blog advice and got hit or miss results. You can make money from blogs but the money will be inconsistent for a long time. The best advice I can give is to start building your list immediately. It costs $20 bucks a month for a decent autoresponder so it's not like you'll go bankrupt doing it. Plus, you get to control the conversation and if you do it correctly, you will be able to build a relationship with your list that will help you maximize on your profit with every email.

When we use the term "blog" we refer to a website. And the most common CMS (content management system) for one is Wordpress.

What you do:

1. Register a domain.
2. Purchase hosting.
3. Install Wordpress onto that domain.

The "list" business model is a good one. But it's a lot more involved for a newcomer. Literally one of the easiest ways to earn money - and doing so professionally - is by creating a blog, infusing your blog posts with links to relevant affiliate offers, and distributing those blog posts to socials and forums. Dead easy.

Now, if you'd like to turn it up 1 more notch, you can go the list route. You can even have a blog on the back end to achieve the above.

It goes something like this.

1. Domain.
2. Hosting.
3. Wordpress.
4. Squeeze page (embed aWeber or GetResponse form).
5. Sales funnel - often with an OTO (one time offer).
6. Market at the time of subscription.
7. Re-market long-term.
8. Use "content upgrades" on your blog to boost your opt-ins.
9. Feed list emails and links to blog posts.

More tricky, right?

If I were you, I'd stick with the first option and choose PPL (pay per lead) offers for your blog posts. They convert more easily, since people just have to fill in a short-form or long-form for you to earn a commission.

Sell a service for $100. Get paid via PayPal. Or sell your old action figures on eBay. Sell something! Much easier than blogging for dollars or any other nonsense involving affiliate links.

Hey Simoben,

Because you are in the initial stage, you can start with any Services which you know.
For example you might be having some skills, that might be very useful for the others as below.

a) Content writing
b) video creation
c) painting other people
d) design
e) software creating etc

If you know any one of the above skills, you can start promotion in warriorforum or fiverr like websites and can earn money for that.
If you dont know any above services. You can still promote other products/services by making videos with your camera phone.You can see in fiverr that many people earning 1000's of dollars with this kind of services.

I made my first hundred online from arbitrage; which basically means to buy something for a low price, and resell it for a higher price.

I went to seoclerks dot com, found someone selling facebook likes, and I bought some for a dollar and resold it for twenty bucks on peopleperhour dot com. Rinse, repeat. There is an application process to sell on PPH but it's not that hard to get in. You can also choose to resell on fiverr, but it will just take a little longer.

I also made money content writing on iWriter and Constant Content, but your writing skills have to be pretty decent.

I've made over $250 on Fiverr as well doing wordcloud designs with a simple free software program.

Making money online just takes a little imagination and a lot of determination. Hope this helps. Feel free to PM me if you need more details.

There are a ton of ways to make money online. Everyone has already mentioned the obvious ones, build a blog, build a list etc.

My advice would be, write down your goal i.e make your first $100 online. Then do your research, and then devise a strategy, based on something that's already proven, for reaching that goal.

Then the most difficult part, stick to that strategy and not give up no matter what, until you reach that goal.

Easier said than done!

I believe both are well within reach and quick to build and monetize ( facebook fanpage & the list) hey i started a fanpage and did penny clicks for 1 week = $18 and its gone viral without any additional work and they are tons of list building courses out there but please be careful with some solo ad vendors. Ask around for reputable solo ad vendors because some are as crooked as a $6 bill......my 2 cents

Some of the techniques mentioned here work well. Make sure to make it easy and simple on yourself when counting those dollars. For example...

- Don't sell $7 product. It will take you 15 sales just to make $100. Instead, sell a product for $25, and it will take you only 4 sales to easily make $100.

You probably dont want to do ebay. I understand. You're going to need alot of quality traffic coming to your site, and signing up for your email newsletter. Then add emails, and let your list build. You'll get your $100 sooner than you think.

My first hundred dollar day was from selling a product and then the buyers buying on an affiliate product through on the thank you and download page.

That was it. Simple stuff.

My product was quite low priced and the affiliate product was around the $97 mark in commissions.
