What do I do if I have a problem with a WSO seller?

I won't mention the seller or product name here because I know if I did this post would be deleted.

I ordered the item on July 19th, I thought I would immediately be sent to the download page. When I wasn't I assumed I would be sent the info via email. That didn't happen so I contacted the seller via the email that was included in my paypal receipt. He never responded so I sent him a second email, still he didn't respond.

So I looked in his profile and saw he had a website so I went there and found his contact info for that site and emailed him, still nothing. Finally I discovered that he is a member of another forum, that forum allows PM's even if your a new member, so I sent him a PM, once again he ignored my email.

There is no reason for him to continually to ignore my emails, as in each email I sent him a copy of my paypal receipt. As a new member of this forum I cannot send him a PM, I can only contact the warrior staff, so what am I supposed to do?

Did you post in the WSO thread that you didn't receive your purchase?

Yeah .. without being rude or real negative, I would mention it in his WSO thread. If he doesn't deliver, and you contact support, he most likely won't be able to post another WSO

    Hi

i had a similar problem a while a go via the warriors for hire section and received a refund via paypal. I would post a reply to the wso asking about your order as they wont want to look bad and it would get them to make an effort.

    kind regards

      Hi Thomas,

I appreciate you helping out. Do you have an email address I can send the URL thread and the username of the seller to? I can't send you a PM due the low number of posts I have. I obviously can't send that info in this thread either, as those details would just be deleted by the warrior staff. I did try to contact you via yahoo messenger but you weren't online. You can just send your email address to me by PM.

I will also send you my paypal receipt number, although this WSO seller should have it as I sent it with each email I sent to him.

      Thanks again,
      Steve

What I read in the WSO rules is that you are not protected by anything here on the Warrior Forums...

When you buy it's between you and the seller...

I mean you can report them if they are not being legit...but other than that...getting your money back is your own deal...

Not that you can't but just what I remember reading in the WSO rules...

If you did not use your paypal funds, but funded it from another source (bank, credit card) - see if you can approach your bank or your credit card company with the information of non delivery and you will have to fill out a form. Many times they will help you get your money back.

Got an email yesterday from paypal as I am going through similar. The file was corrupted and the person will not answer me. So I put in a claim with paypal.

"Your seller has chosen to escalate this dispute to a PayPal claim. By
ending communication with you and escalating to a claim, the seller is
asking PayPal to investigate the case and decide the outcome. As part of
our investigation, PayPal reviewed any communication you may have had in
    the Resolution Center.

Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User
Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It
does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods
received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a
    refund."

So I will be talking to my credit card company.

I am looking at it from the producers point .

I just released a very limited ( only 1000 ) copy product and someone bought from me that for some reason the site I used to deliver the product is banned by their IP.

I finally gave up getting it to him and sent a refund but now the dude is not happy because he wanted the product .

I used a free site for delivery because as I said I was only letting 1000 go. I finally just set up a download page on one of my dot coms and sent the dude a free copy .

I am sure the person really thought I was trying to screw them over at first .

Sounds to me like if you could communicate with the person you will get the product . If not then by all means use the help desk ..

What the seller will need is the email address you use for paypal. The numbers given to buyers on the receipt for payment are not the same as numbers on the seller's end. Those are just paypal confirmation numbers.

The simple way to contact the seller is to post his user name here and one of us will PM him for you and direct him to this thread.
