Is selling or buying FB likes allowed by the FB terms of service or policies?

I don't understand how the practice would be what FB wants. Fake clicks? Or at the very least, clicks that show someone likes something when in actuality the click came from a bot or someone was paid to do the click.

Certainly companies that are buying clicks are trying to deceive their audience into thinking lots of folks are "liking" whatever . . . when, truth be known, they paid for those likes.

And those who sell likes . . . are they getting them from bots? How is that not breaking the FB policies? And if they come from real people, it's pretty obvious that those people are acting for personal gain - not because they actually like what they're seeing.

I don't know if this practice is technically illegal, but at the very least it seems unethical because the likes aren't really generated because a human voluntarily and actually likes what they're seeing.

And building a business on the basis of an unethical or "shady" practice doesn't seem like a good idea to me. I don't care how much money is in the "fake likes" market of how many others are doing it . . . participating in something like this just seems wrong.

Agreed and to the OP, why not learn how to make posts, articles, and videos go viral. once you have mastered it you can package it up and offer that instead of taking the scammy lazy way of selling an illusion.
