If I can spend $20-$30 per day, what sales can I do?

Hi,

I'm your above-average marketer who knows his way around things. I'm looking to do what I know best = driving targeted paid traffic and increasing conversions.

However, I lack product, and I lack merchant account for credit card processing, and I lack shipping.

I read somewhere that I can just do webhost reselling where I get paid everytime there's a buy. I like that idea. But I would like to see more. Like that whole thing about Nutraceuticals, etc.

Are there any suggestions as to who/what can fulfil the latter set of requirements and also give a healthy RoI?

Thanks so much!

You're right, sounds like affiliate marketing would be a nice fit for you, for that amount you can build an optin list and offer them your products, there are several networks like Commission Junction, ClickBank, Rakuten and many more.

For example, you can find godaddy affiliate program on Commission Junction! or the E-commerce section in ClickBank, just a thought.

  • Hey Yourname

You can make an affiliate program and paid advertising, see CB and Fb Ads, for exemple!

Have you consider promoting CPA such as CashNetwork or MaxBounty?

Tons of options for you. CPA like Maxbounty, Peerfly etc. Affiliate marketing with Clickbank, warriorplus, commission junction, hostgator affilliate program. You don't need to ship or handle any of the orders. Build a list and get paid.

    Thanks guys!
Any particular offers you can think of? What about ones where list-building isn't necessary (cuz I don't understand it as no one shows those steps)?

If that's true, I'm surprised you're asking a newbie question like "what sales can I do?"

No one can tell you that. You could do $1/day or $10,000/day depending upon the niche you choose, how good your offer is, how good you are at conversions, how good you are at driving traffic, and many, many more variables.

So go out and get what you lack and get busy doing Internet marketing. The only way you're going to make sales is to jump in and get going on your business. An "above average marketer" understands that he is responsible for what he does. "I read somewhere" is dangerous advice to take.

There's actually no other way that I can think of to make money online other than selling a product or a service, if you don't have any product or service to sell then find other peoples goods and market them...

The Fundamentals are still going to be the same,

Find a Product to promote >> Build a List >> Send them to the product >> Follow up with them via Email Marketing to move them closer to their goal by providing other paid solutions...

Now if your sales funnel doesn't convert well then it doesn't matter if you spend $50 a day or $10,000 a day, it will not make you any money..

    Traffic + Conversion = MONEY

There's a lot of information here on how to set those things up and I believe you already have an idea about that because you're an "Above-Average" Marketer

This question cannot really be answered. There is no guarantee to what you can make spending any amount of money. There is more to it than just spending money each day on marketing and hoping something will happen. You must have the proper system in place that converts. It's going to take some tweaking and testing along the way until you get it right.

You can sell your digital products using Clickbank. there is no need of merchant account and credit card processing etc. They will do all that for you. And you can receive your money through check.

Instead of spending $20-$30 per day, spend little money to see if your offer really converts or not. Use FB Ads for example. If your offer is not coverting, try tweaking your sales copy and Ads. Keep on doing this till you find a best converting page with offer. Now spend $20-$30 per day to scale your conversions.

I think using 20-30$ on advertising to promote clickbank products can bring results for you.

Niche selection and product selection would be the key to your success or failure.

    Regards!

Thanks Robert, that was what I was going to do. $20-30 per day is actually the ceiling.

I've looked around on CB, I will look deeper. Thanks for the pointer about product selection being key.

I should have clarified initially; I run a digital marketing agency where we do online media for various SMB/SME clients. In our DNA, there's no hope - there's only do. There's no crossing-fingers, there's only do. Our form of marketing isn't really IM. It's more about building the pipelines for our clients.

This will be a personal project for me on the side.
I appreciate the back-to-basics response as sometimes people tend to forget that as they go.

      Magandang hapon po.
You're saying instead of having people go straight to the product pages, I should send them to a pre-sales page, get their email and THEN forward them to the product page. If they don't convert, create some email tracks and get them closer to buying the product if they haven't already.

      Am I right?

Thanks Steve. I do know what to do, but I am here to figure out what are the industry practices. This is because the form of marketing I'm used to is different from IM. The tactics being used for regular digital marketing vs IM might be the same, but the process and procedures may be different and that's why I asked the newbie question. I'm more interested in the details as that's where the devil exists.

For example, I am selling an ebook that I am an affiliate for clickbank. Ebook is by John Smith for Greenhouse gases.

I would have, say, an FB ad for this ebook. A click will land on my landing page (domain would be johsmithebook.com) which talks about the book and has a form with email address. After the email address is submitted, the user is then redirected to the actual product page which could be johnsmith.com/getrich .. where there will again be some more sales page stuff and finally the buy button.

If I were to use Vince's suggestion, I would want to send an email to the user if he hadn't bought.
Now here is where the details become important to me:
      • How do I know if this user who gave me the email address pressed the buy button or not because Johnsmith.com/getrich is not going to give me access to track purchases.
      • Let's say somehow I do know the firstname@yahoo.com who submitted his email address on my landing page did not convert to a sale, then:
      • When you send the email, do I send the email from info@johnsmithbook.com or do I get permission from John Smith the ebook writer to use his domain to send email from?
      • Last but not least, this list is now segmented as a "get rich" list. Meaning, next time I bring up another product, I again create a new info@ email and new landing page?

Thanks everyone for the replies, and the gentleman who gave me the video. The video is super helpful as much as all the replies!

Good post and this amount should also give you a good head start on promoting a blog with affiliate products from amazon, clickbank, cpas, ebooks, hosting etc. Find a good niche that you are interested in, that also has high end and low end products that you can sell with amazon. Find a related ebook from amazon that you can use to teach people more about what you are selling and also increase the percentage of your monthly sales. Then you want to start a page like the 2nd one I have in my sig that can show people exactly how to start making money blogging as well. It takes some time to be successful with this and the more that you post and the more shares that you have, the better luck you will have with this. I used http://www.like4like.org last night in order to start increasing my social media shares and Facebook likes and got a ton of shares of my page and quite a bit of extra traffic too for just $20

You can get alot of sales each month with this budget. What is your niche? You said you're good at driving traffic... what niches were those, and why did you quit them. Are you looking to spend time in the "internet marketing" niche, or dominate some other "hidden" niche?

You don't need your own product to make sales. You can join any network out there and sell other people's products and earn a commissions. Just make sure that what ever affiliate program you are going to promote, it needs to pay you residual income and not one time commissions.

Sell T Shirts on Facebook Ads. This is a hot method to make money today, in fact I think it is better than affiliate marketing. In case you didn't know, you don't need to ship, create or stock the T shirts. Companies like Represents or Teespring will take care of this. All you need to focus on is the T Shirt design and traffic from Fb Ads. You can learn more about this from courses like Tee Advantage (tshirtadvantage.com) or T Shirt Titan 2 (::T SHIRT TITAN ::).

Wow, you should know better that you cannot have self serving links within your Posts

Btw, Tee Spring can be a great way to make money . But you really have to know what you are doing and realize that you need to run a lot of Campaigns to see success.

Much like the Stock Market . Cut your losers quick and let your winners ride

Setup a blog and promote affiliate products like Clickbank products. If you know how to use your $20-$30 per day on ads effectively, that would go a long way. When I was starting out, I only spend $10 per day on ads. I just make sure that my CPC is a low as $0.01 or something close to that.
