A quick one for the eBay Warriors.
I'm selling an item (a physical product, not an info product) on eBay in unlimited quantity -- it sells for $19, and I make about 8 bucks on each sale. I only sell about 1 or 2 a day, for now. Currently, I have it set as a fixed-price auction at 30 days, with the quanity set at 60. Is there a cheaper or better way to sell an unlimited item? Does setting the quantity high affect price? I also sell the item on my own site, but I have much better luck on eBay. |

- Consider getting a selling template specifically for eBay - Use the eBay Turbo Lister and set quantity to (1) and re-list semi-automatically with the free software once product sells ( that way you don't lie about "limited quantity") - Put as reference your website higher price tag, sell same product on eBay with lower price tag. Plus, explaining your testing the market won't heart neither (Remember the "how special am I babe, just tell me" from that special someone? Make your visitors feel that way too! If not, remember WSO samples...) - Quantity high influential? Perception, some say is everything and others say it's part of the selling puzzle. So yes, indeed! It affects. Every detail counts. I know my second bullet point is not bad... - Consider using your "About Me" page, post a picture of yourself. Of course, don't put your dog, cat or the Che as a picture profile. It makes a difference. | |
