Solo ads - how to find?

Do you have any tips on purchasing solo ads? What should I look for when researching solo ads sellers? What should I look out for to know if they are legit?

Basically, any tips on filtering out the good from the bad?

    Hi..

A good place to look for solo ads is the Warrior Forum, and Solo ad directories. There are also chat rooms in Skype where a few dozen markers sell their clicks from their lists.

The main thing to look for is geniune buyer testimonials when purchasing solo ads. There are also FB groups where buyers post their testimonials for their solo ad purchases just to let others know how their purchase went - So looking out for testimonials are a MUST.

In regards to filtering out the bad ones, search their names on Google, and if you find bad reviews - Walk away.

    Thanks
    Bilaal

A great tip has already been given check out this group in facebook:-

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/SoloAdsTestimonials/

A couple of extra tips though. Ask the seller if they are using their own list. The reason being, you don't want to buy from a list broker because the quality will suffer. The reason for this is that they only make money when they buy dirt cheap clicks and then sell them on to you for a higher price.

Ensure that their traffic comes from Tier 1 countries, UK, USA, Canada Australia and New Zealand.

Always test with around 200 clicks first and then get more if you get good results.

Finally, always be aware of a high opt in rate and no sales, normally something fishy going on when that happens.

I have not done so in a while but I last time I looked this forum had a lot of people offering solo ads. There were a lot of testimonials lited for some of them.

There are actually many sources. I expect the FB group mentioned above is helpful.

You would be better off going to the top blogs in your niche and filtering them based on whether they have a list or not.

If you don't have the time to do this, you can hire a cheap VA from the Philippines or Pakistan to do it for you.

Depending on your niche, there might be quite a number of these blogs.

Give them a low ball offer.

You'd be surprised at the deals you can cut.

    Avoid PROFESSIONAL SOLO AD SELLERS.

They often engage in list swaps or some other shenanigans.

According to some solo ad reviews, some sellers even use microworker sites to get sign ups from Third World countries.

    Bad news.

Do the leg work yourself and get better CONVERSIONS.

I suggest taking a look at Udimi dot com...

Very similar to safe-swaps, with a lot of the same vendors, but the setup is next generation, in terms of fraud detection.

To answer 2 of your questions:

    1. To find solo ad vendors, you can go to the classified ads section on this forum. I think that if you sit and go through page 1-185, you will see probably over 200.

    2. You will see testimonials from other people but the best thing to do is to test the some each week and see which ones make you sales and which ones don't. It's all about testing.

fiverr.com gives a decent list of solo ad sellers. Try to the ones with Top Star ratings (or at least Tier 2 sellers), check their feedback , reach them personally and give a try. This is one of the cheap ways to start with ...

FB group is the best bet so far.. In the past before FB Groups, there were Skype groups.. lol..

Here's a tip for you, join the above mentioned sites and FB groups. Before you buy any soloads, double check if there is good or bad reviews of the seller across the different FB groups or selling sites.

    Cheers!

    1. Don't buy from anyone offering "solo ads." That term is used almost exclusively by people without your best interests in mind.

    2. Purchase only a hardlink. Do not let them route the traffic through their server. You need to see the referrers in your tracking. This helps guard against bots and PPC laundering (two very big problems in the solo ad industry that this forum would rather not talk about).

udimi.com. Everything is tracked within the system and you get to review the seller, so you get 100% transparency. If the seller fails to deliver, you get your money back into your account and can immediately try another seller.

Don't waste you time or money at Udimi or similar websites.

If you're serious about solo ads, first things first, it's going to take hard work.

If you have your niche, find websites, forums, blogs and other places where your target market hangs out.

Subscribe to the potential email lists on those websites. Get in touch with the owner to see if there are advertising opportunities. Privide an example of your solo-ads and ask if your solo ad would be a good fit for their list.

This is a great way to get started and be more profitable.

Or you can take the lazy way and go to Udimi and waste your money. It's up to you.

If you're not going to use udimi, just make sure you correctly track the clicks and see where are they coming from! You can use ClickMagick or similar software to do that.

I absolutely love Udimi. Every solo gives me sales. My sales page sucks, but I still get sales. There are many ratings with sales from other folks.

Just do your research before you buy. Udimi is a wonderful place.

I personally use the facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/SoloAdsTestimonials/

Its important to find a reliable vendor before making your purchase. This is to ensure that you do not meet fraudulent vendors that vanish halfway without fulfilling your clicks. Testimonial by other buyers are a great way to verify that.

You can also use a tracking program like clickmagick to ensure that your clicks are legit and are from tier 1 countries which are known to have a better conversion rate.

I love how the people who are supporting Udimi are most likely sellers on Udimi. It's not hard to tell when all your posts are about Udimi.....

    Typical udimi right there.

Udimi quickly shut me up when I started calling them out on how they run their business. Currently hoping PayPal will help me get my money back.

As for the so-called reviews on Udimi, most of those are from other sellers. Go through them all and you'll see what I mean.
