    # of pages and keywords they target.

    Niche sites tend to focus on a couple keywords, and laser focus on them. Smaller, tighter focus on maybe a single product, or service. 5-20 pages.

    Authority sites tend to take a shotgun approach and position themselves as the "authority" in a market, or even a niche.

    That's my definition. They're both just websites in the end.

    A niche site is a website focused on a very specific term or target. Generally because of Google and Bing and all the other search engines this is refered to as a keyword or keyword term. And you want to make sure that the keyword term that you use for a niche site is very focused.

    ​An authority site is a website that earns it's reader's trust both due to the quality of its content and the quality of its experience. Because both of these are great, the website users are happy to sign up, return, engage and share the content they find on the site

      Almost like if you have a website selling different products that you ship... You have been running this site for 3 months... This is your niche site

      Amazon that sells millions of products that ship... Been online since 1995... This is a Authority site.
