The first step is to learn proper grammar and sentence structure. Many writers don't get their articles fully read because of the bad impression they make somewhere in their writing.

Practice by finding an article you like and see if you can rewrite it in your own words. Make sure it still maintains it's meaning and sounds fully literate while being grammatically correct.

Also, use words properly while using a variation of words to make your writing more interesting.
A dictionary and thesaurus are important tools.

If you have some money to spend formal education is never a bad idea. Some people thrive under a structured learning environment. A basic creative writing class probably wouldn't cost you more then $150. You could probably get a basic "certificate" for less then $500. It surely would dramatically increase your writing abilities.

The absolute best way to become good at writing is to practice, practice, practice.
Write every day. Choose topics you like to start with and then to ones you don't know about. Vary the lengths of articles. Then practice some more.
    Good luck.

      Pretty much this.

Read a ton and write a ton. Sit and write for an hour a day (or more if you can manage it) and develop that as a habit. Read as much as you can within your market so you have ideas regarding what to write. Both will become habits once done consistently.

That's really the only way to get better in practical terms. There isn't really a shortcut to enhancing your writing skills. This is just something you develop over time.

You nailed it, and so did everyone else.

Walexy, if you do not have time to study, get pen and paper and copy at least one article about writing per day, word for word. Unlike using a keyboard, your hand communicates directly with your head and vice versa. Nothing replaces the special communication our minds have with our hand moving a pen.

Proof what you have written against the original article. The more often you do this with different articles about writing, the fewer mistakes you will see.

        Result:

You will learn a great deal
You will improve your English skills
You will improve your spelling and grammar

HOWEVER, even if you become a great writer, use the grammar, spelling, and punctuation tools available. There's always some little thing we miss, no matter how good we are.

This is it right here and,

      two words: Study Journalism.

What a lot of new bloggers don't understand is that blogging or article writing came from journalism. There are a few short rules of journalism that equally apply to rules of copywriting.

A lot cheaper to learn from a journalist.

Use the Hemingwayapp.com for reference. Write for the web. People scan a lot. Use great headlines. Short sentences. NO FLUFF.

If you can hold a reader's attention then write all you want.

One tip I read a long time about copywriting will work for improving article writing, also.

Pickup a tablet (you know..the old fashioned paper kind) and a pen. Start re-writing good articles by hand, paying attention to how they are punctuated, formatted, what words are used, etc..

With repetition you will start using those same styles in your writing.

Bonus Tip: If you can, sign up for TextBroker and write articles for pay. Their editorial/review staff will critique your writing and give you hints on how to improve. Also, they have a series of training sessions for writers you can go through to improve your writing skills.

Go to google.com and type, "Grammar Checker' after you have completed your article then you will see a list. Just select any one of them, then copy and paste your article to the one you have selected. Click the "check", button. Your work will be scanned for errors and the mistakes you made will show up on the screen. Next, click the "Correction" button. Your work will be corrected automatically. In order for you to find a good topic to write about, you will need to do some research and a bit of reading. Never, copy other people work, but always use your own words.

Learn proper grammar and syntax, and develop your vocabulary. A halfway-decent writer that actually cared about how his writing was perceived by others wouldn't have written his original post in the manner in which you did. I'm not saying that to be mean. It's just that people that consider themselves to be writers are really into stuff like that.

Study people who write good articles.

Go to Article sites and study those...

    Write articles everyday.

Write articles for other people. There are sites like iwriter where you can write for others for practice.

    Write about something you know.

The best way is to write daily. Make sure you are proof reading you posts and getting someone else to proof read for you.

You can also take classes on effective writing if you have the funds for it or search the net and learn some things on your own. You can pretty much find anything on the net you need to solve a problem. All depends on the effort you are willing to put in.

Learning some copywriting skills can definitely go a long way. You can check out some PLR sites and subscribe or utilize the free stuff they offer.

All in all the more you practice the better you will get if you put in the required effort.

I am truly not trying to sound like a jerk but even when you write in here do it diligently.

i.e do not use abbreviations like "pls"

In every venue you enter ( yes even WF) , try practicing your writing like it is a very professional piece of diatribe

Read the kind of articles you want to write. Read other things, too. Read read read and THEN write write write and then read some more.

    And...don't forget to read!

People say good writing is mostly re-writing. I say bullshit: It's mostly reading!

    Read.

If you would like to be expert in a language, you must have to know the vocabulary & grammar of that language. Beside the language you need to have the clear expression of the niche. Such as if you would like to write about the technology, you must have a clear idea about the Technology. Thanks

    Hi Walexy007,

One bit of advice that I can give to you is to be conversational in your approach.

    Don't be formal. That's boring!

Write as if you're talking to one of your best friends. Be yourself.

If you are unsure how to structure your articles, http://shop.ezinearticles.com/ sells affordable article templates that can help you with your structured messages.

However, as others have repeatedly mentioned; read a lot, and practice writing often.

More importantly, learn to 'communicate' your written messages in a manner befitting to your audiences needs, wants, and desires.

I have considered taking a few courses myself, and http://awaionline.com often has workshops.

You may also want to dive into Content Marketing Solutions from Copyblogger - they have 20 or so free ebooks centrally focused on writing web content, and copywriting techniques that put a huge emphasis on creating strong 'calls-to-action' - such as lead generation, presells, sales copy, and marketing related writing styles.

Research (read a lot), practice, and write with passion.

    Or

You can always 'outsource' it, and pay others to create your content if all else fails.

I'm going to go with those above who suggested that you begin by improving on all of your online communications.

Capital letters at the beginning of sentences. No pls, it's please.

"Writing" is misspelled. The editor here on the forum shows you this immediately with a red line under it. When you don't spell something right, open a new tab in your browser and type it into the search bar to find the right spelling. Then put that in your post.

The letter "I" is always in caps when it is about you.

End your sentences with a period.

Consider every thing you write everywhere to be an exercise. If you start applying the rules in everything you write, the blog post writing will just come naturally.

PS: Just caught myself in a typo while typing this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letter_case

You first have to identify the niche of the posts. This will help you in researching for the facts about a topic. After that, be able to write is a communicating tone as if you are talking to the reader directly. Make sure that the structure of the post is simple and flows very well. Use grammarly or any other grammar tools just to make sure that you are having good punctuation and sentence structure. If you are using wordpress, then search and install a plugin called yoast SEO, it will help you optimize the post based on your website.

Such as if you would like to write in the English language, you must know how write an error free writing in the English Language. Beside the language, you must have a good Idea about the Niche.
