How much is a site worth thats aged and brings traffic?

Hi,

Im wondering how much a site is worth that is perhaps 6-8 months old and is bringing 10-30 uniques per day with targeted keywords. Its in the vegetable gardening niche and has around 15 pages of content that target long tail keywords.

Not only that but it has a pop up opt in box that pops up and usually gets a good conversion rate. I have a email list in this niche that has built up to 800 double opt in's just letting the site sit and do nothing. I have sold to my list once and it converted with 8 sales out of the first 400 double opt in's.

The site has been promoted and is getting traffic on auto pilot as I have not touched it in over 5 months. Its really a great site but I am planning to sale it only if its going to sale for a good price. Im not sure whats the best place to sale my site, but what would you think something like this could go for? Just wondering, thanks

couldnt I even offer to basically joint venture my email list? Like since I cannot sale the list I could send out offer to my buyers page until most of my list joins his list right? Thanks

what is the most important thing for determing a sites value? How much it is earning per month? This site was only built to build up a email list and it does that well. Am I crazy to expect to get $500-800 for it when I list it on flippa?

hard to say without any income coming in..usually that is what determines the selling point..its usually 10-14 times the monthly income..so if your site was making 50-80 bucks then yea you could ask for 500-800 bucks for it..but without any income and that low of traffic then expect just a few hundred dollards...300-400 tops...the opt in list is good but only one offer to test it out is not enough...good luck!

A site can get hundreds and hundreds of hits per day, but if those hits are not becoming profit making customers and the site has no financial value, it is worthless.
