What would you do with a $500/month budget?

Hello Warriors.. As the title says, thats pretty much where I'm at.. I'm a newbie as I've yet to make anything online besides small change on neobux. lol

But anyway I can spare 500$ monthly to invest for now and I'd like to just get some ideas as I tend to have shiny object syndrome..

I'm signed up with clickbank and jvzoo and I have getresponse(only 20 subscribers),and leadpages.. just as some background info.

And I have a couple basically brand new websites.. one for e cigarettes, another for horoscopes,.. I basically just made them on impulse and haven't touched them much as I got discouraged on building them out after reading all the stories about google changing its algorithm and losing everything(I guess you really only have to worry about that if you're only getting search traffic, but still)

but anyway basically I'm kinda all over the place and don't really know the best thing to focus on..

So if you had only $500/month budget, what would you do with it? Thanks to all who answer
#$500 or month #budget

You might as well pour some ketchup on you as you look very tasty right now to some sharks in here.

I'd buy two courses here on WF

    1. Kate Rosenberg = Solo Ad Business Blueprint
    2. Greg Kononerko = Perpetual List Building

I'd study them both like a hawk, and use the rest to implement.

I would buy solo ads and build a list with $500 per month.

You could get around 1200 clicks and 500 subs each month.

Focus on the most profitable niche that you have encountered.... this is going to take a bit of research...getting into too many niches at once is both costly and time wasting. Choose one good niche and stick to it. The first thing you must do is build a list. You've probably heard this many times, but the money's in the list and too many people wait too long to get started with building a list.

Oh yeah, not just any list, a "customer list" is the most profitable. Freebie lists according to some marketers, can be a waste of time because they argue that many will not buy anything from you. I think it depends though, customer lists are the most profitable. A buyer is always a buyer. Create a product. You'll soon find ways to spend your budget on things like outsourcing graphics, ads etc. Don't go looking for ways to spend money, especially on here

    hey there

start by focusing your efforts on ONE niche. As you said yourself you just made sites on impulse and have not done much to them.

There many threads of here explaining a business funnel start with that

As for your monthly budget I think it would be a good idea to set up an auto responder. capture leads through free or paid traffic (bing ppc) can generate some good leads for cheap clicks.

Then when your making money re invest some on more traffic and other areas of your business!

In your shoes, I'd grow traffic platforms.

    1. Squeeze Page (Front-end)
    2. Blog (Back-end)

Grow traffic platforms on all of the major social networks. Direct that traffic to:

    1. Squeeze.
    2. Blog posts (content upgrades to squeeze).

    Monetization:

    1. Sales Funnel.
    2. Blog.
    3. Blog posts.
    4. Socials (updates / direct to offers - example TeeSpring.com)
5 Re-marketing: via direct email and blog links).

With a $500/ month budget you'd have enough to grow a number of key traffic platforms - pages, groups, profiles, accounts.

You'd end up with a stable business. And when it's running efficiently, you outsource and rinse, repeat.

It's best to complete your blog setup. Make sure that you have integrated your Autoresponder so you can start building your list. Make 3 to 5 blog posts every weeks (you can hire a writer from UpWork (odesk). Setup your affiliate links! Then start driving traffic to your blog. Analyze traffic and conversions, and improve your blog as needed.

  • Hi aspiringaffiliate

Well, $ 500 is a good starting point to build your list quickly, do this: while looking for your niche (horoscope, cigarettes, then ??? need to do one thing well. Only one.), creates the Your product (ebook, infoproduct, etc ..), build your list and multiplies those bucks!

  • I wouldn't spend any of it. You really don't need that much to make money online. Your gonna be spending more time than money anyways. Unless your working on starting up several projects at once. You have no need for 500$ a month, unless you are trying to build a solo ad business or something or maybe building big ass pbns.

I actually only ever suggest a few courses on making money online. Source wave university, screw 9-5 and wealthy affiliate and if your lucky enough to find it, Cash Money Goldmine. Which you wont find unless you find someone on skype or something that is willing to sell it to you "illegally".

He's right, unless you already have an established site. Buy a shit load of traffic and test a bunch of stuff.

I could see many of the warriors posting their suggestions/advice without reading your post completely.

You mentioned you already own 2 sites on different niche. My suggestion for you would be to spend $500/month to grow these websites, so that it can make you money. Just stick to this plan for a definite period, I am quite sure you will make money pretty quickly from your website itself.

I agree with this to some extent..

The problem with sticking on something without a definite plan is actually
      disastrous

A lot of times, people just throw out websites after websites, without carefully
      understanding what they doing

Some of the things newbies do:

      1. create a site and put affiliate links all over
      2. outsource cheap content without reading it therefore turning off their
      target audience
      3. listening to SEO gurus then creating tons of different backlinks
which in turn hurting their sites

and a lot more... which i wont mention anymore...

I believe that you should understand your market and the whole
online business/IM game carefully before shelling out money to
      grow your business

Use money ones you are confident with your plan and you know where to get
      back that money

You can go to amazon.com and read free kindle unlimited ebooks on internet marketing topics for newbies. Spend more time educating yourself, you can build your sites up then sell them on flippa. But you must educate yourself on this topic as well, don't be so quick to throw your money at any and everything or everyone that promises quick riches(shiny objects).....
