Setting up contracts in Clickbank

Hello;
I have question about setting up contracts in Clickbank, I was hoping you help me.
I am a vendor. I found another vendor with similar product and a big ass list.
I want to approach him and tell him:
Hey bro, If you tell your list about me, I'll give you 50% of each sale. Hug me.
Questions:
1 - Should I set up a "Traditional JV Contract" or "Affiliate Referral Contract" ?
2 - I want to have this for a flow that contains 2 products. Should I create 2 contracts (1 for front product and 1 for upsale)?

Thanks

The Traditional JV Contract will give the other vendor commission on ALL sales (not just his own) so you don't want that.

The Affiliate Referral Contract also is not appropriate.

You could instead set up a commission tier (which allows you to set different commission rates for different groups of affiliates)

Thank you. I wonder why they haven't listed that here! https://support.clickbank.com/entrie...-Joint-Venture

Also why do you think ARC is not the way to go?

Anyways, I requested access for commission tiers. Hopefully it's nice and easy.

      Thank you for your reply.

Commisson Tiers is a way to offer different commissions.
Could this be regarded as a joint venture ? Maybe.
If so then it could be noted on that page.

ARC would let you give the other vendor commission on the sales of affiliates he recruits to sell your product. I don't think that is your intention.

Having said that there is a variation which would work.

If he just recruits himself he could get additional commission on his own sales which would effectively give him the higher commission that you intend.

          Hey;

I did some research and testing. I am positive "Traditional JV Contact" works good! Let me clarify:

I just make a new product and using this form TinyGrab - Simple. Screenshot. Sharing. , I assign 50% of each sale to this specific vendor. That's right each sale he gets 50%.

This can also serve us in another way: If he sends this to his affiliates army, each affiliate who sells, get 75% of each sale and me and him each get 50% of the remaining 25%.

          Thanks

If we go back to your original point

I assumed the reason is that you offer normal affiliates commission less than 50% and you would be offering this vendor a higher rate i.e 50%

But I think you mean a 50% share of all your profits on sales made by that vendor and, now, sales made by his affiliates.

            Correct ?

Thank you for your reply. I am pretty sure we are on the same page.

I think this makes it clear:

Let's say a I set a "Traditional JV Contact" and set 50% of all sales of product A to this vendor.

The product is $100 and the default commission is 75%.

There are only 2 scenarios for this:
              1. Option 1: He promotes my product to his buyers. For example a gardening course. He sends it to all farmers. So he gets $50 from each sale.
              2. Option 2: He tells his affiliate army (who also have a list) about this product and they send the offer to their list. Each sale pays $75 to each affiliate. So there will be $25 left that me and him share. We each get $12.5.
              I hope this makes sense.

                Surely he gets $75 + $12.5

Profit sharing is the best way to do this. If you cannot offer his sub affiliate same or better profit, there is no point he help you.
