30, 60 or 90 day guarentee?

Hi I am going to sell an ebook and offer a money back guarantee with no questions asked, even though there is nothing to return. The price will be $49 due to the very valuable content and I want to offer either a 30, 60, or 90 money back option. Does anyone have any thoughts about the pros and cons of the different dates or a recco on which will net me the most money in the long run? Thanks, Ed.

If you are going to list it on Clickbank, then I would
offer a 60-day guarantee since Clickbank will approve
refunds up to that point without your approval.

During the 60 to 90-day time frame, Clickbank will
direct the customer to you at which time you
may request the customer's refund if desired.

(Return and Cancellation Policy - ClickBank)

A 60-day refund period probably won't pose any
difficulty for you, as most refunds will be within
minutes ("serial refunders"?) before they've even
had time to read the material.

    Hi Edward,

Generally speaking, the longer you leave the "refund window" open, the more sales you'll make.

Why not go bold...offer a 365 day, a lifetime...or even a "double your money back guarantee"...?

If you have a great product, your refund rate won't change (...unless you use Clickbank, of course...but that's a whole different story)...but your sales will increase.

I agree with Steven. I've offered 365 day return policies and have had zero percent returns.

You should have an unconditional money-back
guarantee and usually the longer the guarantee,
    the less refunds you'll make.

The customer doesn't want to be rushed to buy it,
check it out and implement it thouroughly when
    they're already too busy.

The longer the guarantee, the less risky it is for the
customer and the easier you made their decision to buy.

Not to mention people don't like putting their integrity
on the line returning good products.

I think 30 day is too short and the 60 policy coincides
with what Clickbank offers with their products..I would
pick the 60 day. Its plenty of time to let a customer
    evaluate your product.

Do a 1 year guarantee or longer... trust me It'll work out just fine.

Generally a longer guarantee will result in a better conversion, and oftentimes fewer refunds. But the length of the guarantee isn't the only factor.

The bolder your guarantee is, the more "risk reversal" it offers the buyer, the more likely they'll take advantage of it. That's one reason the "free trial offers" do so well . . .

I said "generally" above because nothing is 100% and the only way to know for sure is to test different offers against each other.

    Best,

it will totally depend on the quality basis of your material if its in a very good quality i would chose 90 then if its not then the shortest period will be the best thing to offer
