blog landing page or gumroad landing page for ebook

I released the ebook today. Sales are slowly coming in. It's a weird feeling. At the moment I have a latest post (see it on my blog) with a link to the gumroad product page for my ebook.

My question is, should I just keep linking to this or should I make my own landing page on my blog? I think I should now pay for someone to write some copy, do you think?

If anyone has time to look at my latest post and the gumroad page to give suggestions for improving or point out any obvious things I've missed then please do.

I feel like I rushed the product/landing page and I still feel like I'm treading water

    Overall, the best bet is to have your landing page on your website that you control. I don't know any reason why you can't have both and test to see which works best for you.

    Its hard to take a look at anything because there are no links in your post and no sig file.

    Oh..where to start. You should make your own landing page, that gumroad one is not going to do it. You should definitely hire a copywriter or study it yourself. Your sales page is lacking so many important elements.

    Take the Huge picture of the book off the top re-size it and move it down the page, create an attention grabbing headline,tell your story, create some excitement, there is no price, place buy button at bottom, learn about selling benefits vs features, go study other peoples sales pages.

    You have a great concept, a pretty big list, sales should be flying in. Did you email your list about your product release? If not I would correct a few things first.
