Hi, I am learning to find a good niche / profitable niche. I don't know how to start it. You know that there are zillion keyword in the internet. Which should I put in the keyword research? I once select a keyword based on my "personal interest" but then I found that the related keywords have very high competition & low product items & low commission as well. Some gurus tell that it's not good niche. Should I select other keyword which I'm not interested with? I feel it's hard to select from what I'm not interested. Please tell me what should I do? Thank you, Samuel |

You might be going too broad with your keywords. Be more specific. Your topic of personal interest and its immediate family of keywords may have too much competition, but take it a few more steps and see what you find. I would think that no matter what you're interested in, there are good niches; you just have to search. Try the Google wonder wheel - that may help you find some ideas.

KEI, Volume, Interest, and Ambition. Many factors to consider. But the most important is once you think you have a good keyword reverse engineer your competition.
