What has been the most successful and profitable strategy you've experienced in regards to marketing PRESS RELEASES and / or EXPLAINER VIDEOS to business owners?

    This is remarkable in and of itself:
    No response to this question in 2-days and 84 views... and counting!

    After hours of Google research... I have discovered that there are plenty of service companies promoting PR and Explainer Video services... however negligible "how to market" info.

    I hope that some senior WF Members will step up to the plate.

  • I'm not an expert and haven't really studied the subject but I would just get great copy and PR to as many sites as possible. I would use the campaign as a story line, pr1 "new company taken by storm", pr2 "they do it again", etc... I would just do what the news does, launch, excitement, hype, controversy, interview, start up story etc...

      I am specifically looking for "expert" DISCUSSIONS or CASE STUDIES that showcase successful marketing strategies which have performed well for the marketing of either Press Release and/or Explainer Video services.

    Collect (mannualy) all the email addresses of blogs/magazines/newspappers who might be interested into your {PR, then send your PR to them. Make sure you write a right subject, don't write long text, jsut attach pdf file with the whole info, because if journalist be interested he will definitely check it. I even found one easy to understand article about sending PR. Even it's about music industry, but it works for everyone.

      Effective PR is never just sending out press releases and info to journalists. Journalists get hundreds of these every single day.
      To do effective PR you need to first identify writers that cover your topic and start a relationship with them.
      Comment on their articles. Find typos and send them short messages with a comment about an article and point out the typo. Provide useful info.. just do not sell or promote your product during the first interactions.
      Once you have built up a basic relationship you can softly pitch your product, ideally packaged in a way that provides a benefit for journalists.
