Default Promoting products with salesletters

How should I go about it? Should I simply set up the product salesletter at a "keyword" domain name then publish over 100 articles to ezinearticles linking back with the "keyword"?

Would the single page salesletter rank highly for the particular keyword?

Thanks.

Would just putting up the sales page on "keyword" then linking 100 articles back with "keyword" as anchor text be good for ranking highly?

There are many factors to ranking well, firstly the sales letter would need to be optimised for the keyword you were promoting, A title/description tag containing keyword also help with on page optimisation, try to use the keyword in close proximity towards the top of the sales letter, go for a density of about 1.2% for google. then yes using keyword anchored backlinks will help your rankings for this search phrase, although if you just submit the same article 100 times you will not have a lot of effect, the duplicate content filters in google will render this effort worthless, try looking at article spinning, Alexandr krulik is a developer i know personally who has released some great article marketing tools, Just google search for "magic Article Rewriter"

Rather than get 100 backlinks from the same site, you'd do better to get them from many different sites. But the general idea is correct, the anchor text that is used to link back to you is the primary determiner of what phrases your websites will rank for. It's debatable, but I think offpage SEO is more powerful than onpage. Onpage SEO will help maximize the value of offpage SEO, but the person who wins is the person who builds links. Period.
