If I have a blog about Technology and have mini niches on the site like Multimedia PC/Software/Hardware because all the keywords are relevent to each other would it be okay in googles eyes? Or should I make a whole site all about keyboard and a whole site about some kind of special software? Because I look at sites like engadget and they have tons of stuff in the tech area.

I just created a multi-niche site that has multiple categories, kind of like an article site. So I think the multiple categories won't hurt you in Google's eyes since article sites get great ranking. When yo submit your site to Google, it takes the top level site anyway and then follows your other links....

If you have any doubt just check www.indianchild.com. This site has all kinds of unrelated topics. As an example the site ranks no 4 on google for "anti aging natural supplements.i have also its pages ranks very high in google for terms related to snoring etc

All in all, it's tech site so google will see you niches as related to each other. I don't think it's worth to start separate sites as you would need many time to make them popular.

The problem is that your domain name obviously won't be keyword rich in all of your niches, which gives you a small disadvantage. But then you cut down the amount of time link-building, since you've only got one place to build backlinks for. Google won't mind you putting them all on one site - look at how well Amazon ranks. Now that's a whole lot of niches! If the niches are related enough for the domain name to be sensible for each niche in the eyes of your visitors, I'd say go for it. |
