How do I set up a post-payment questionnaire?

Warriors, does anyone know how to set up a post-payment questionnaire?

Specifically, I'm opening up a new copywriting service for a very specific market and I'd like to set up the sales flow like this:

1) Customer hits the "buy" button on the copywriting service sales page

2) Customer is redirected to paypal where they pay

3) Customer is redirected to a questionnaire where they fill out the answers to 8 questions I need to begin working (about their market, target audience, etc)

4) This questionnaire is emailed to me and I begin work

...and that's it! I know this has to be relatively simple (since so many people do it) but I don't know where to start and how to set it up. I already have the sales page and the paypal account, now I just need to know how to integrate the questionnaire into the sales funnel.

So esteemed Warriors, can you offer any ideas or assistance?

When they buy, have them sign up to your autoresponder.

If you don't know how to do this by coding, you can send them to a web page you own after purchase, which has the opt-in form for the autoresponder embeded. "Thanks for choosing to work with me. I'm excited! Your next step is to sign up here, so I can send you the information we need to look at to get you the results you want."

First email in your sequence (and you may not need any other) is a link to your SurveyMonkey (or similar) questionnaire, with the brief explanation of what and why.

The survey site sends you the responses.

You could skip the autoresponder entirely and just send them to the url of your survey.

Obvious disadvantages to this.

Yup...you can do 2 ways real easy, set the api with aweber etc...so automatically added to your list, but quick heads up...aweber wont let your lead automatically get an email without hitting confirmation link if put on from payments because you're basically forcing the lead on to your list vs where they would if you turn off double optin and they signed up for a free x...

2nd choice you have that as your thank you page...so basically after someone pays they can normally get to a thank you page to download their product but in your case the thank you page is your questionaire.

This option sounds like exactly what I'm looking for... so what's the best way to set up a questionaire that's emailed to me after they fill it out on the Thank You page? Does paypal have an option to do this? Or do I use something like WuFoo?

You can paste this into the Step 3: Advanced options of your Paypal Buy button (check the box beside "Take customer to this url when they check out" and then paste the url into the field beside it).

Now you don't even need to host anything.

Have you been using the "Take customer to this url when they cancel their checkout" option to redirect balkers?

you can check other services or if have an autoresponder already and asking long detailed questions, but if short info and want to get more from email and want to avoid all that...basically have the box of questions (your auto responder form)....then the last 2-3 questions hit for info....name-email-phone....then submit.
