Weight Loss Site with Traffic: 2 Questions?

Hello,

My name is Alex and I own a small weight loss site.

A week ago, my SEPR unexpectedly went up. So my website started receiving a decent
amount of traffic from such keywords as "best diet pills", "best weight loss pills", etc.

However, the content of the page is poor and unprepared to such a rich inflow.
There is only a generic informational article on the most prescribed diet pills.

Therefore, I'm having 2 questions:

1. How can I improve my content so it meets the visitor's purposes?
I hopelessly observe that my visitors don't like the article they land to.
The bounce rate is terrific (80-85%). I need to take steps before Google hates me.

2. Eventually, how can I convert the visitors that are coming to my site?
Is Google Adsence a good idea of converting traffic or should I look for something more outstanding?

Any advice is welcome.

  To my opinion, it's a clear illustration of how much value my site provides to visitors.
  Just imagine: 85% of visitors run away in fear. It's no good.

  Tell me, WTF was the point of your post? Why did you even bother to post that pile of crap? Some WR got debate here, some say don't bother, some say does affect your site....I mean, GOD ALMIGHTY, please help us.
  
  OP, you're asking us about how to improve your content about diet pills, when you are running a weight loss website yourself? We are not dieting experts here....What you need to do is understand what your visitor is looking for, when they search for diet pills or weight loss pills or whatever it is.
  
  You want to deliver quality, useful information about those pills. It's that simple.
  
  And then possibly chuck in an affiliate offer at the end of your article, or possibly put a banner somewhere for a weight loss offer. There are hundreds of them out there...
  
  Check out Clickbank.com, register and find them in the marketplace.

  I can create content myself. All I need is an advice of where to move and what "best diet pills" visitors want me to give them.

All you need is to choose a company that sells these and has an affiliate program. I don't think that you will have a hard time to find them. You just have to take your time to find them. Try Shareasale.com. They might have something there that suits your needs.

You should go with affiliate offers. There are a lot of great weight loss products out
there paying good commission up to 80%.

In the GA dashboard you can see where exactly terms are your visitors typing to find your website and also what sources are they coming from.

Based on that you would want to deliver what they are looking for, I'd try to change the content of the articles, and also putting some videos to fight the bounce rate.

Outsource content creation. High quality content can take your site to the next level.

In weight loss niche some clickbank products can do the magic for you.

The most common mistake marketers make when creating content is basing content upon search engine keywords. Rather content should be tailored towards social networks and audiences.

To find the best content to write about

1)Find the most authoritative sites within your industry:

2) See common themes in their most shared content

3) Build content similar to it or better by adding on to where they left off.

1) Take an hour out per day to write 1 simple article. Make sure you cover all the basis, and only write stuff that is of high quality. They will appreciate it and come back for more information and tips.

2) Convert the visitors by having them opt in to your email newsletter. If you have a blog, encourage them to subscribe to your blog - and make it obvious to do so.

Also, if you want to do Adsense, fine. But also look for good products that you can promote as an affiliate to get your visitors to click on them and buy. Just try these for starters.

To the OP:

To really get to know how to best serve your visitors, you have to get to know them. Find them where they hang out (forums, FB groups), and see what they talk about.

Then you know what to tell them!

Regarding best diet pills - research what they are and provide a synopsis of each one with an affiliate link to purchase. Or see if any PLR provider already researched it for you.

Alternatively, you can get someone on iWriter to do it for you (not expensive).
