Need Quick Opinion on Domain Names please

In the process of looking for a domain name. Does it matter if there is a number and single letter in the domain name at the end? e.g. which is better SEO wise out of these choices:

keywordphrase4u.com
mykeywordphrase.com
keywordphrase.co.uk

I won't just be targeting the UK by the way with this, so I really wanted a .com

I understand that "my" is like a stop word in a domain name in that it is not really read by the search engines.

Opinions whilst I still have these in the basket LOL

Thanks for any help
Sue

    Use the Google keyword tool.

It will tell you what domain to register.

Heres a hint, grab all of the top keywords, dump them into a text file then head on over to godaddy and do a "bulk register" search

Thanks and yes I have been doing that, have narrowed things down now to the above 3, just wanted to know if there is any problem in using the 4 and the u and which order they would place the above choices perhaps.

      Thanks

When a product launches, a lot of people will go and register a domain name such as:

    productnameinfo.com
    theproductname.com
    productnamebonus.com
    product-name.com
    productnamereview.com
    productnameS.com

Maybe that will help with some ideas.

I don't use domains that are interchangable such as "4" and "for" or "u" and "you".

Of the three, mykeywordphrase.com is the best.

The "4u" part of the first one fails the phone test (there is confusion as to "4" or "four", "u" or "you", etc.)

The .co.uk extension on the third one is not as good as the .com extension.

What's more important SEO-wise is that you have your targeted keywords in your domain, which is satisfied in each of your three examples. But you might as well get the domain name that is worth the most in terms of value, so I think you made the right choice. :-)
