    Hey there!

Okay. There are two sites I can recommend you to:

Reed Floren's Solo Ad Directory and Safe-Swaps - email ad swaps

You can also look around this Forum and find people selling solo ads or people who are very good at it and give good advice - they would know even more good solo ad resources!

    I hope this helps!

    Keep up the great work!

You can also find solo ad sellers on Facebook. Search groups for solo ad testimonials or solo ad sellers with sales.

If you don't mind me asking, what are you trying to do with the solo ads? Sales, list building? What's your primary goal?

      Get sales and build list.

Most of my solo ads, I got from solo ads testimonials.
I didn't get any sale and yet the opt in rate was like 35-38%

besides looking for good solo ads vendors, you may also try to improve your list building funnel.

For instant, make you squeeze page headline more enticing to get more opt-ins. Or insert an exit redirect script into your squeeze page, it can be direct to another squeeze page, this way you can at least get some opt-ins from the people who leave your first squeeze page.

other elements to think about like, your OTO (price point, how relevant to your free gifts, etc...), your download page (give more free gifts, or,promote others product, etc...), follow up emails...

How much did you pay? And how many people opted in?

The problem with solo ads, that there's a lot of bad lists out there... It might cost you a little more but you can high quality...

I pay about 0.45-0.50 per clicks.
Number of people opted is depended on the amount of clicks i had purchased

recently, i purchased 300 clicks for $0.50 i get 32% opted rate. 120 ppl opted in. No sale.
      That was bad right ?

I've been running a traffic agency for around 2 years now, and what I can tell you the biggest difference I see between those that are converting solos and those that are merely getting opt ins almost invariably has to do with the sales funnel and the perceived value your prospects are receiving.

Time after time, I've ran the same offer to the same traffic. 1 client will pull 5+ sales and a 45% opt in rate and the other, no sales and 35% opt in rate. Same offer...different funnel, different perceived value.

I would highly recommend testing new providers and keeping a close watch on your open rates from your new leads, but also ruthlessly refining your funnel. More than likely if you are getting these kinds of numbers on opt in, and the opt in rates vary, the traffic is probably okay. (Assuming it's human, of course)

From there, your daily emails should be pouring on the value for your new leads. Remember, it's up to YOU to stand out and create a compelling offer with a unique selling proposition and more value than anyone else.

A great funnel can convert well on mediocre traffic. A bad funnel will have difficulty converting on the most responsive traffic.

Have you tried to understand why your results wasn't satisfactory? Do you have a good squeeze page? Does the page sell your message and make the reader want more?
    That's your start.
Then you need to find a provider that feels right. Talk to him/her and ask questions before buying. How does he/she harvest the clicks? How often does the list "refresh"? How do offer like yours usually convert for that list? What kind of testimonials does he/she have?
If they don't want to answer questions like this, then you move on to the next one.

You have to do your part before sending traffic to your page. If not, you will pay for something that probably won't convert.
    Have you looked here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SoloAdsTestimonials/
Look there for testimonials and ask around.

    Good luck

    This a rather long reply!!

I've been buying solo ads for more than a year now and must have gone through about 20k clicks. Not a lot in the marketing world but a lot for me.

It started out badly to be honest with you - I didn't have a clue what I was doing and this was reflected in the results at the start. It was an expensive learning process, but I know so very much more now!

I have sought help and advice from reputable marketers and slowly learned the ropes.

It's a good policy to engage in conversation with solo ad vendors. Check them out and ask them about their lists. Good vendors won't mind answering questions. Ask also if they have run your offer recently with anyone else. If you go in to a store to buy a washing machine - you don't just buy it and hope for the best do you? (Well I don't!)

It's is perfectly OK to ask them stuff. I have made some good friends this way - who have gone on to look at my offer as well.

Obviously read all the testimonials and see if you know any of the buyers - email them and check. Also ask around in your friends and marketing network, a recommend from sombody you know is worth the effort.

Ask them about their list - how big is it? How does he send your clicks over - are they funnel clicks (that go through the vendors funnel first) or raw clicks. Some vendors have a great relationship with their list and others never ever communicate with them.

I am building my own list of people - it now stands at about 1200 - not very big but very valuable. I would rather have a list of 1200 buyers that 50,000 cold leads any day. It has taken me six months of hard work from having no knowledge. Now my list is worth a lot to me - I recognise many of them by name and could tell you about many of them - what they do etc.

My point is that if I started selling solo ads - my list would convert very well because many of these people are buyer leads - they have already bought from me or somebody I know.

Imagine if I spent $5000 on 15000 cold leads from lists of people I had no clue about! If I show my offer to these people - why would they be interested? Maybe they are into baseball or online gaming. Maybe they are on a list of home improvements buyers from Wallmart. The point is they are not out looking for marketing opportunities like my offer.

I need targeted people to look at my offer - people who are wanting to get involved in marketing - in other words - targeted leads.

So here's a question for you to think about - where will you find the targeted leads you need to look at YOUR offer? The clue is in the question...

Sorry I rambled on - good luck
    Richard
