Infusionsoft vs Ontraport: Best for an affiliate marketer progressing towards own products?

Hi,

Which one is best for a newbie affiliate marketer (Clickbank and CPA offers) who is aspiring to sell own digital and physical products in the next few months?

Should I go with Infusionsoft and pay their $2,000 set-up fee but get the larger marketplace support?

Or go with Ontraport for quicker (and cheaper) set-up?

Thoughts appreciated.

    Hey Alex,

I'd suggest starting to sell your products yourself so you can see what traffic channels convert the best. Once you have this data, you'll know much more about your acquisition costs and can approach networks for further distribution.

If you're just starting out as an affiliate, save yourself some cash and get yourself a simpler email service provider instead. aWeber and GetResponse are two very popular services with IMers. They're both much, much cheaper. Keep things simple at the start then upgrade when you're making some money.

I would recommend starting with MailChimp. I have, use, and love InfusionSoft, so if you have the moeny - go with them. Their functionality is insane. But to be honest it might be a bit much for people that are just starting out.

If you have your own products and willing to selling it through affiliate marketing

Start with JVZoo and Warriorplus ,both of them provide very good affiliate marketing platform and most of work is done by them ,like reports, affiliate requests ,commission distribution, payment management.

Use a good autoresponder like aweber, getresponse

I understand some people want their own affiliate network but to understanding basics ,i will suggest you start with them.

Use $2000 for promotion of your product and list building .and you can give me bucks for this advice .

Why would you want to pay a $2000 set up fee as a beginner? Infusionsoft is for the more experienced
Internet Marketers who have established themselves already. Why not try first the usual suspects: Clickbank, JVZOO and Warriorplus?

Infusionsoft is best tool ever I have used, Instead of having $2000 Training and beginner set up. You should hire a NON CERTIFIED Infusionsoft Consultant. That will be best, although i am sharing my experience about consultant who helped a lot, Even these professionals take care of administration & campaigns and also integration which is a big plus.
you can hire a one from here --> Infusionsoft Developers | Infusionsoft Expert Developers

I have used both. Infusionsoft is for experienced marketers and very expensive. The $2000 set up is NOT optional anymore. You have to do it to get started. I use Ontraport and it's great. It's easier to set up and integrates with most tools you are going to use, like LeadPages and Webinar Jam.
