Where to sell high quality domains?

Hi. I have domains that would be perfect for a PBN, and are very high quality. But I don't know where to sell them. Marketplaces like flippa, namepros, etc, aren't meant for these types of domains.

Have you looked into SEDO? They've historically had a lot of very high end sales.

Sedo isn't really good for domains like this.

Sorry, I missed the part where these domains are very high quality for a PBN.

Is it safe to assume you're sitting on a bunch of recently expired but otherwise aged domains?

Yes. I picked them up on auction, and they have a lot of great backlinks and PR.

Personally I think it would be more worth your time to build them out and sell them through Flippa or some other broker. That would do more for the value imo.

  • Don't waste your time with sedo with less then amazing domains. Yes, like Ryan said, build them out and sell on Flippa. You will spend much less time waiting around for them to sell. I have a good domain and in 1 year of trying to sell, have gotten 0 inquiries.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned selling your domains to very targeted prospects.

You mentioned the domains would be perfect for PBN owners. So why not contact PBN prospects directly and let them know what you have?

Pick the best keyword phrases you can for PBNs, do your Google search, then contact the owners of the top search engine results. These are the people that will have the most genuine interest in buying your domains if they truly are high quality domains.

It doesn't matter that a PBN owner already has other domains . . . if yours are truly high quality and can bring additional traffic, the owner will have an interest.

If you can't seem to find any interest in your domains, then maybe they aren't quite what you thought they were. Everyone falls in love with the domains they register but often they're the only ones that think the domain is valuable.

      Good luck to you,

      Steve

This is good advice. If you don't want to take the time to build it out, approaching already successful websites would probably be the quickest way to get it sold.

I would still go the FLIPPA Route. A business broker, and all that will charge through the roof!

plus get a good copywriter in here, that can help you the more you tell the more you sell. I have sold over $300,000 of sites in flippa, and its a great place.

I don't need flippa. Flippa isn't good for these names. Flippa is more for one word domains, or domains worth a lot. I also don't want to build them out. Anyone have more ideas?

You could create a site from the domain name, and park it, and drive people to it with the message that says "this domain is for sale". Tried that, or did i miss it above?
