Good Job Warrior Forum and Management Team !

In the last day or so I am seeing Threads that are being closed because they are guilty of
Thread Resurrection ( reigniting a Thread that is months and years old ).

And this Resurrection looks like it is based on Members trying to get Sig exposure related to the specific Topic at hand.

Good to see.

Cuts down on a lot the the garbage in here

Thanks guys

While I agree with what you say to some point, if the comment is something other than a bump, and has soemthing new to add to the discussion, I don't know if I agree completely with this. If a thread has outdated info, the only thing to do is either 1. start a new thread, taking up more space, or 2. Amend the old thread. Which is worse, really?

I agree but the ones I was talking about were Sig bumps

If that's happening then its definitely a good thing...as long as it is done in the spirit to help the community as a whole (and not just to meet 3 or 4 people's silly agendas of WF domination). Hopefully they take it a step or two further and begin merging all the similar topics together so we don't keep seeing those, "How Can I Make $129.36 by Tuesday" threads.

As one of the 3 or 4, I applaud their efforts. lol

Now, what's next on my 'to-do' list?

What you people don't seem to understand is that $129.36 by Tuesday is a totally different thing than $176.43 by Thursday, $10,033.12 by the time Billy the Beater gets out for the weekend, or $3.25 by the time the library opens. To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure what all the complaining is about!

PS Thanks FL team for all you do.

Noticed that and also noticed threads with the same questions asked the day or hours before being locked... example, we had 2-3 threads with basically the same "what would you do if" titles on the main page that were locked..

PS. As the 4th person out of the 3-4 i also applaud them ... (Finally Frank, our domination of WF is at hand)

    THANK YOU WF ADMIN, MODS....

We're not allowed to name names, so I have no idea what you guys are talking about. =)

And besides, if you were theoretically one of the four, then you'd definitely rank #2. Don't sell yourself short!

That is good to hear nice job, as we always see threads with the same topic that is being posted.

Now that they're working on Thread ressurection, which I never thought was that bad personally, IF ...
          • It was on an "evergreen topic"
          and
          • Something "relevant" could be added.

But none-the-less, I am encouraged that the "powers above" is listening to the will of the people(for a change).

Now hopefully, they can do something about double, triple, quadruple and more post that make the same comments in threads. When someone makes a comment and 5 people repeat the same thing. I call that digital waste.
          Note
: I'm not talking about a poll or which would you choose question.

For example, how do I create a sig? And five people say same thing over and over again. At least add something the previous post didn't cover. Why keep repeating the same thing someone else has already said? I never have understood that.

But of course that would require (clearing throat) reading previous post, right? Either that or the person who repeats what's already been said is lazy, a copy-cat, or just desperate for attention. Kind of a selfish attitude to those who do it, in my opinion.

I agree whole-heartedly. The Warrior Forum and Mgmt team have more work to do on this site than I would ever want to consider and I believe they are doing an excellent job (for the most part)!

I also agree with "The Niche Man" as far as the need to read previous posts before posting, however, the time I have to spend on the forum is very limited and trying to read everything that everyone has had to say in some of the threads is quite time-consuming. I haven't posted much for that exact reason. I don't want to repeat and I don't have the time to read all of the posts.

            Thanks for the post.
