Can Newbies get some examples please?

As I continue to read and research on this fantastic forum, I can only imagine what some of you more seasoned IMers are talking about. Then I thought how nice it would be to see success in action.

For example, profitable landing pages that utilize concepts discussed here, blogs with excellent wording, facebook pages that draw in the masses, ClickBank products exceptionally promoted...autoresponders, ads, youtube vids, etc. All from people who are successfully positioned in the IM business.

I learn by example much better than theory

Maybe this is wishful thinking on my part, but I would pay to see the inner-workings of people who "got it right."

I would thank that's a pretty good way of describing your chances, but since you said you are willing to pay, I'm sure you'll get a few takers.

Part of the problem is that people can't 'self-promote' as it is against forum rules, so placing links to their pages in their posts will not be an option.

You may get a few PM's, especially if they have something to sell.

One of the things i did way back when is to join mailing lists of successful IM'ers.
This way you can see first hand how they operate, you can also check out their websites, sales pages etc.

The top earners have spent hours and lots of money testing ads, conversions, traffic and so on. By watching what they do you can learn a lot yourself...

IMPORTANT Set up throw-away email accounts before you start subscribing to anyone, this way you will keep your main email address clean and free of spam by the boatload...

That's a great idea. Now, how do I know which IM'ers are successful and locate their websites?

I've only posted a few times as I am trying to get used to this forum. However, today I was poking around and came across a list on the right side of my page of the most followed people on the Warrior Forum. I noticed that a number of the people I follow via email were on the list. The problem is, that was a few hours ago and I can't see to find the list again to tell you how to get to it.

Here's my point. I am on the mailing list of a number of these IMers and invariably (every 3-4 months) they re-send the same emails advertising their own website(s) or product(s). That is how you can find their websites. I have actually purchased coaching from a couple of them that is really good. Good luck.

Check out this post on the Warrior Forum. It has some good information:
It's also a couple years old and the person whose post you quoted has not been on the forum for a year or so.

Not saying it's bad info - but things change quickly online and many of the threads from several years ago may be outdated in the info or the people they recommend. Just a caution.

For example, profitable landing pages that utilize concepts discussed here, blogs with excellent wording, facebook pages that draw in the masses, ClickBank products exceptionally promoted...autoresponders, ads, youtube vids, etc. All from people who are successfully positioned in the IM business.
Here's something seldom mentioned here - but true. Few IMers do ALL of those things. Many who are "successfully positioned" are doing only a few of the "methods" you see mentioned here...because that focus is what they need.

I think many times new marketers feel they need to be "shown" in a "hands on - looking over my shoulder" way only because they believe they need to "learn it all".

You don't have to learn everything before you do 'something'. You don't have to buy the latest and great launch products or join every coach's team. Acquiring, learning and following can easily become excuses for doing little or nothing. Don't take that path.

I do agree with following people - signing up to their email lists to see what they do. Best way is NOT to read them when they come in but to read through the "sequence' they use by reading a month's worth of email from one marketer. Do that and you'll begin to see the 'patterns'. Same is true of sales pages - but ONLY IF you can stop yourself from buying everything you read about.

I would love to see how one go from a newbie with no list and build a list and make profit out of it. I think there is a WSO offer that shows this but after reading the reviews I didn't feel like purchasing it.

Your going to waste many years looking for the perfect system to model after...

Your going to find out later as you do your research that it's all about just taking action

Testing, and tweaking until you can get results.

Even if you found someone who had the perfect funnel, or the perfect strategy, that doesn't mean the method or system they use will work for you...

    Results VARY on everything.

Instead of short cutting and trying to find someone who is successful and have the perfect system you should be...

Taking Action and building your OWN system

    Testing and tweaking your system

Learning what is working and scale and what isn't drop it...

Then start the whole process over again. (on that same system)

Over the many years I realize the methods that millionaires are using are not hard.

The hard part is taking action and sticking with it long enough to see results...

Many systems work well if you

    Take Massive Action
    Test and Tweak the action
    Find out whats working
    Repeat the process
until you have a dynamite system
Then it's money in the bank

So, even if someone shows you their DYNAMITE system
you won't know what that person did in their actions, testing, tweaking to get it to that point.

I agree. The problem with copying someone else model is that it's overly used either by him or his team member. Soon you will find that the funnel doesn't convert anymore because it's been exposed in front of thousands of people, it rarely convert anymore or very little. Everyone having the same website, emails that's been copy all over the internet shows poor workmanship. Be original and come up with your own stuff is always better and make you stand out.

Nobody said anything about copying word for word, i believe the words were: "you can learn a lot"...
Yes i agree that copying (If that's what we were talking about) is not the best way to go, but we are saying learning from those that know a hell of a lot more than you can be beneficial...

Are you saying there is nothing to be learned from people who have done it before and did it 100x better than you?

About three months ago I had an idea. I posted a new thread and offered to build a complete affiliate site from the ground up, and give weekly reports on the traffic, the methods I used, and the income. And guess what happened?

Within 5 minutes of posting, it was reported several times and deleted. So people here can tell you things BUT it is 100% against the rules to show you. It stinks but rules are rules.

Quite awhile ago I opened up one of my businesses just a little bit, enough to give some examples of what I was doing.

Within a couple of days my business idea was cloned and at least two Warriors ripped off both content and graphics from my site. One was even so bold as to copy my sales letter word for word.

It was my mistake . . . but needless to say, I stopped telling people what I was doing and the niches I was in. I don't even give out URLs anymore as examples to help teach other people what has been successful for me.

I'm sure you can understand why it's better to not give out too many details about specific things in your business because no good deed goes unpunished.

I'll give you an example of why nobody here is going to share any thing of quality. I was teaching on a webinar two years ago, and as I often do, and I shared a video with a class of about 250 students that was making me probably $200-$300 per day on YouTube, yes one video. The very next day, Ithere were a bunch of copies of my video or cheap knockoffs online targetingithe exact same keywords. My income level in that video went down drastically. Nuff said

  • Most marketers won't directly give away their best ideas (and they wouldn't last long if they did so).

If you're smart, you can look at what they did and reverse engineer it.

Make sure you note everything they do, including a pre-build, web copy, email sequence, sales funnel etc.

Incidentally, if you can reverse engineer successful marketers, there is a very good WSO to be written about that.

Just for starters check out the following Warrior Forum Discussion Thread - Click Here.

In addition to that discussion, I've come across a training program when you open an account with Get Response email marketing service. Its a list building training by Pam Neely that is excellent, practical and designed to get results.

You can open a Get Response account using a 30 day free trial offer but I'm not sure if that will give you access to the training. However their rates are affordable starting at $15 a month.

Most IM professional prefer to keep their websites a secret from other IM users, because this industry is pretty notorious for copycats entering into the niche and ripping off all your hard work.

There are few successful internet marketers who show their profitable websites to the public. One example is the guy from this blog who created this authority site during his "niche site duel" program where he teaches people how to create a niche website and monetize it.
