You know under google map.

You will see some companies name on google map and their location.

I do know you can apply for it question is on verification ...will google call your personal tel to verify?

    Telephones don't prove much of anything these days.

    I think they just use a simple postcard, i.e., physical mail.

    I talked to Google about three weeks ago to update my listing so yes, they will call you if necessary. With that said, the guy was a complete ass and acted like I was torturing him when I said my business serviced multiple towns, so don't expect a pleasant conversation. He was American though- that part was surprising.

      I check actually they just mention will post a verification mail to your address and enter the verify code on the card ?

      just like applying for adsense.

      never mention call?

    I have just done this. I didn't speak to google at all, they just sent out a postcard to my address with a verification code.

    I've never gotten a call. Just a text verification, or a post card in the mail. My experience.

    They will not call you on request. They used to have an automated service that would call if you wanted to claim a listing. They stopped that years ago. They only call you if they want to call you or feel a need to call you.

    If you want to claim a business listing, you have to do it by postcard.
