Product resell rights

Hi folks,
I was wondering whether there is a way in which I can legally gain the licensing and reselling rights to an affiliate product ?

What I mean is can I legally purchase rights to sell someone else's product under my name and then keep 100% of the profits ?

Thanks in advance

The only way is to simply go directly and ask the product owner. Most likely you'll have to pay for the license resell rights IF... they allow it.

If not you simply don't, and find another valuable product that either comes with resell rights or contact info, then from there speak with the product owner.

You would have to contact the product owner, there are PLR websites out there where you can buy done for you products to go out and sell...

If i am honest i would stay away from products like this though, a lot of them tend to be garbage in terms of the information and value that they give to the community!

I would heavily recommend looking into something else like CPA marketing...

    Just a thought my friend!

Which kind a product do you want?

Is this hosting related or something else?

There are some great websites where you can find and purchase a lot of different PLR products. However, like mentioned above, these product often have low value information. I would recommend finding a great product that you'd like to promote and just ask the owner directly

James is not talking about PLR products folks.

He's asking about licensing a finished product and selling it for 100% of the profit.

Yes, James, you can do this if the product owner will allow you to. Typically, they will ask for a licensing fee up front. Also, they generally will not allow you to put your name on the product as the creator or owner. They will retain the copyright (if it's a written product). You will just have the right to sell the product, as is, and keep all the profit.

I have done this quite successfully with a number of products in several niches. The key, of course, is to find top quality products where there are a limited number of licenses sold.

      The best to you,

      Steve

Yes I was actually looking for a finished product that I could actually try 1st and if I like it then resell it with 100% commission.

Although I didn't know that PLR is also applicable to digital products other than ebooks.

So thanks for the help everyone.

And what would be in it for the product creator? Say the creator of a product is selling 100 per week, that is also 100 subscribers to his/her list, that is also 100 potential upsells.

You might be able to purchase licensing for any affiliate product, but are you ready to pay? The better route would be to make your own product to sell.

The answer is quite simple - yes, you can. The problem is finding a product that is worth buying at a price that is reasonable.

Generally the seller will never give you the power to sell on your name. It is one kind of Plagiarism. But if you can get permission from the Original seller, then it is okay. But I am sure, if you want to get this permission, the seller will take high rate. In this case you can hire a freelancer to work for you. You will give him a fixed rate for his work. Everything will be on your name. I think it is the best solutions for you. Thanks

Most people struggle with the marketing side so even if you have your own product whether via license or you own efforts ( you could outsource this task) are you confident that you will be able to sell enough to cover your costs and make a good profit.
One advantage of being a product owner is the possibility of providing incentives to have affiliates help you generate traffic. If you haven't already got the skills needed you may be better off learning some of the skills required as an affiliate first before hand. Just my 2c
