Best screensharing software not requiring a download

I'm looking for a way to share my screen with others without them downloading any special program. How can I accomplish this?

* Also what is the best way for me to 'take control' of someone elses screen?

You can share screens using Skype, all though you can't control the other persons screen.

If you're lucky enough to both have macs you can screen share and control each other's screen.

Otherwise, I'm sure a quick google search will give you a plethora of options! Good luck!

Take a screenshot of your desktop from your keyboard by pressing the "Prt Scr" button, and then open up Microsoft Paint (or a similar program) and paste it. Then crop/add arrows as needed and save it as an image. From there, just email it, text, or post to a forum/social media like you would with a regular picture.

    1) Press "Prt Scr" on the image you want to capture
    2) Paste it in Microsoft Paint
    3) Crop/edit as needed
    4) Save as an image (.jpg or whatever)
    5) Email, text or share however you want

No software is needed on the other person's end, and you just need Microsoft Paint (which comes free with every version of Windows).

Thanks. I use the heck out of what you're suggesting but this is a bit more complex. I'd like to be able to take control of the persons screen and show them the entire process.

Oh, then just grab one of the screenshare programs. Go To Meeting, Join Me, Team Viewer...there are dozens of options.

If you're using Microsoft machine then just remote desktop the pc you want to see. Or you can also use "TeamViewer" that's the closest thing I can think of. very small program size and no need to install, also it's very easy to use.

Sorry guy, it took 2 days to activate my account. You don't want remote desktop, what you want is Windows Remote Assistance. It will do exactly what you want. The customer emails you and invite code and you input it on your machines Remote Assistance GUI. I have tested it and it works fine across NAT'ed firewalls and the Internets. Just make sure the customer uses the full access method and sets a time limit. If it is your grandma she could grant you unlimited access forever. If not I would advise you to advise the customer on how to send a properly configured invite. Do some research first and good luck.
