Question about Reselling Wholesale Products

Hello Warriors,

I was interested in reselling wholesale products through channels such as Ebay or Amazon (and possibly an ecommerce store in the future), but had a quick question.

Would it make any sense for me to deliver the products to the customers with the packaging from the wholesalers? So basically I wouldn't repackage the products, and I'd be like somewhat of a distributor.

Is this a valid model? Or will customers just side step me and look for the wholesalers directly?

    You could do that. But you would lose any branding that you might want to do for your self.

    See if the wholesaler would put your name as the shipper. Sort of like drop shippers do.

    I would think that most customers would not side step you and go direct to the wholesaler.

      Thank you very much for your input! I agree, I'm hoping that most customers will just be glad that they got the product they wanted at the price they were willing to pay.

      If I can't find someone to put my name as the shipper, I'm hoping that at least they will leave the invoice out of the package.

        I'd say most costumers indeed won't bother. You may be losing a few costumers, but unless you're looking towards building your own brand with the product, it may not be worth your time to repackage.

    Does anyone know of any good places to sell other than Ebay and Amazon or my own ecommerce site? Possibly other sites like Ebay?

    Yes, you can resell your wholesale product. but you loose something like your customers.
    You can do one thing if you agree your wholesaler to put your name as the shipper.
