Niche/Authority sites

There are a couple of areas where I am a recognized authority on subjects. I have wanted to develop sites to market products in areas where I am an expert in. Herein lies the problem: if I develop a site where I put up either a long sales copy or videos or whatever and develop an affiliate relationship with different vendors, how can you integrate multiple products where each might have their own payment process?

I'll give an example. Let's see I am an expert at weightlifting and bodybuilding (which I am not) and I wanted to market weight belts, grips, hooks, tank tops, etc., but three of the products came from different vendors, how can you integrate that for payment? Is it possible?

    When you say three different vendours, is these companies you are an affiliate for? Or are you dropshipping? Or are they your products but you have them listed in three different affilate networks e.g. one in CB, one on Paydotcom, one on CJ?

      Exactly, the would be different networks that I may be an affiliate for (i.e. CB or Paydotcom or others) or could also be for companies that would drop ship for me...

    Sounds pretty straight forward.. take full payment and order details from customer... then make the order and pay your suppliers accordingly.

    This will help your cash flow because you get paid before you pay your suppliers. Also if you pay credit then pay it off straight away.. it does wonders for your cred history and great points.. done this before

      Good thought but I'd be more inclined to have something go straight to the vendor instead of messing with payables. This seems like it is not technically possible unless I set up multiple sites that all are a little different so google doesn't penalize it where each is directed to its respective vendor.

        I once enquired about this with a dropshipping company and they basically said no. They said I could upgrade my membership and they'd set up an automated website for me but obviously you'd not be able to integrate other programs with this.

          I'm wondering if people on the site might use multiple affiliate networks (CB, Paydotcom) and how they've been integrated...

            Another situation that I am thinking of... what if I have a niche site and there are two products and one is from CB and one is from Paydotcom and the person visiting the site wanted to buy both products... how would/could that be done and how could you integrate that?

    Its possible... but I'm thinking you'll need to find a good programmer.

    Maybe go to rentacoder.com and write down what your after and someone may be able to build you something pretty cheap..

    Well....if I've got it right...you can have different ads on your site from different affiliate networks. And for dropshipping, you can just use paypal to accept payments...or will you also have your own affiliate program for products you sell?
