How to transition from Instagram to website

Hello to all, and thanks in advance for reading my post. I currently have a fashion related instagram account in which I have over 400k followers and users that are very active. Revenue is pretty good from related accounts wanting to advertise on my account. However, I would now like to transition from just a fashion instagram account into a website, and would like the website to also become a profit generator. I just dont know the best way to go about it considering I didnt expect things to get so big in terms of followers. Should I just do a fashion blog with google ads? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You can create a Facebook fan page or a blog and in your bio of your Instagram link to your new site. That would be your best bet I could imagine if you're trying to get followers onto your new site if they are truly engaged.

If you are curious on what kind of fashion website to make, I would go for a blog type and then add in links for say amazon affiliates featuring fashionable clothes and what not.

Or you could check out Shopstyle Shopsense affiliate program, they are on a pay per click, usually a $0.05/click on their links, without the need for the clicker to buy anything. Plus, they have a really large database of clothes to pick from.

    Good luck!

There are two things that stand out here. One is that you must give people a reason to visit the new site. I get reminders form Google Plus and LinkedIn and Facebook all wanting me to connect with people that I'm already in constant contact by email with. My - response -no reason- no action.
Secondly some people who follow fashion are buyers- sell them some high ticket items where you get a nice percentage of the sale- nothing wrong with 5 cents a click but not as great as a $100 commission.

You could start your own line of clothes and get people to the website that view your instagram posts

I would suggest building a Fanpage on Facebook and redirecting your subscribers to your page.

Since they are already interested and engaged in your niche you should have no problem converting them i

I see you love extreme and taking risks.

What if, for some strange reason, your account gets closed ?

Start immediately your own (yes, you are the boss there) website and send all your followers to your own address.

      Good luck.
