Question About Affiliate Links & Mobile Apps???
We all know that mobile is traffic these days is huge. But, do mobile affiliate links get recognized when a mobile browser opens a native app for the user???
If that's not clear, let me give an example:
I have a website called myaffiliatesite.com, which contains various Amazon affiliate links. Due to the nature of the internet, let's say 60% of my traffic comes from mobile users. Once they click on one of my affiliate deals, the mobile browser encourages them to install the Amazon app (if it's not yet installed), or automatically opens the Amazon app (if it is installed ).
Does the affiliate link still somehow get recognized? OR does the tracking of my affiliate code terminate when the Amazon mobile app opens?
