What T&C do affiliates look for?

I am new to this forum and already have learned a ton. Thank you to all who post and share your expertise. That having been said, now I would like to ask you for more of that expertise.
I am about to open my second affiliate program. The first was a learning experience to say the least as I was thrown into it and not prepared, or educated enough to do so. This time will be very different, and, to some extent, I know what I do and do not know. My new program will be designed with the affiliate in mind and with that in mind, I am looking at writing my T&C. What do affiliates look for in the T&C and what do affiliates look for in the forward facing site? What is attractive to an affiliate when they log on to the site's home page?
