How can I monetize my email drip campaign?

I created an email course about how to launch a career in marketing. I provide the guide for free in 6 installments in exchange for an email. All of the content is free but I do link to affiliate products such as ebooks and courses throughout the guide. Does anyone have any tips on how to monetize the email campaign after the 6 installments are sent. You can view the link to the guide in my signature.

Personal training, or recurring membership services? Launching a career isn't the end point, what do they do next that you can help them with?

I would suggest you create your own ebook and sell that on the last installment of the AR series.

Make the barrier to entry very low like $1

Why? You're creating a buyers' list.

Once you have a nice buyers' list going, you can sell solo ads for upwards of $0.25 to $1 per click. People WILL pay more because this is a BUYERS' list not a list of looky lous

Marketing is a very broad subject. Perhaps you can niche it down at the end and sell products based on whichever niche you're promoting.

Email marketing is one example. Video marketing is another. There are plenty of affiliate products you can promote for those two, alone. If general marketing is being taught during your email series you should be able to integrate a promotional angle very easily once you're done.

@Highway55 That actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the tip. Do you have any recommendations where I can find affiliate products for niche marketing careers (besides clickbank).

        JVZoo or WarriorPlus could work.

No, you're right. But in order to be a successful marketer you need to be able to monetize your offer.

So how can you teach someone to enter an industry and be successful if you can't complete half of the required skill yourself?

I like some of the suggestions other posters gave you.

If you offer personal hand-holding (i.e. paid membership to coaching) to go along with what you taught - I'd think that would help the people on your list really implement it.

He did mention that the guide contains affiliate links.

So after the email series switch to focusing on another specific affiliate product or make your own. One that complements the guide. Such as getting them to use a email software or something likewise they could use to implement what they just learned.

And why would I optin when I can get it right on the website under "Steps Of The Guide"

On a positive note though, you are using Jarvis which is a pretty solid theme. I can tell by the 100% count up. ; )

Those are just excerpts apparently. If you look a little further down, it says "To get the rest of this section...opt in..." But you're right that it's not so obvious there.

    I step away for a second ...

@Riki Stein - Thanks for taking the time to read the website and provide your opinions.

@Thomas Unise - I too get upset when I see so-called marketing experts who do not practice what they preach. But my guide has nothing to do with the questions that I am asking here. The guide provides advice on how to grow a career as a marketer in the traditional sense (in-house, agency) and not as an affiliate marketer. My experience and knowledge is in B2B marketing which is very different than affiliate marketing. As a result, I have turned to you warriors for advice on how I can create an additional revenue stream to my 9 to 5 income.
