I already have my niche which is make money online but I also enjoy viral blogs like the lad bible which go crazy on facebook and they have monitization. Anyways, I'm going to get iPage but how do you suggest I think of the content for the website. I have no problem with writing content myself but I don't know what to write. Also I am not going to do one of those review websites because those are just over used.

      Thanks.

You looking for a paid or free guide?

Either way, there are plenty - whoever teaches how to start a blog probably includes all those details (or at least the ones I've seen have).

Video 1 - Starting With Why | Become A Blogger (free). I don't remember how detailed he gets, but you can check it out yourself.

Someone mentioned Adam Short's Niche Profit Classroom. It's not cheap - but he focuses on micro niches, just so you know.

Many of these trainings and courses have setting up a blog as part of a bigger picture.

What do you plan to do with your blog? Affiliate marketing? Start a list? The answer to that will indicate which (paid) training would be most appropriate for you.

Lots of guides out there for different parts of the process, not sure about one that covers everything but you could always look around this forum in the WSO section, and on Google ect.

It really depend on what stage you're at, and what you have in mind.

Just pick up a domain name and get started.

Your head will explode if you take in too much information at once.

Learn about each specific topic as you go along, and use Google to begin with when looking for essential plugins.

I think the most important thing when getting started is setting up your permalinks correctly, but everything else can be changed as you go along.

Get started by utilising the skills you already have, learn the stuff you are interested in but don't already know, and consider outsourcing the tasks you take no joy in (if any).

Find some popular niche blogs, and model what they are doing in terms of ad placement, types of content, styles of writing, etc. As for wordpress themes I recommend themeforest.com, and for plugins you don't have to worry too much. As a bare minimum I do recommend these though: Akismet, WordPress SEO and iThemes Security.

Your thread reminded me that I have a report/ebook I wrote a while back (not available anywhere online atm) entitled "How To Create Your Own Blog", which covers how to get a domain, hosting, install wordpress and configure wordpress and plugins. It also has something about monetisation and traffic. Send me a PM and I'll give it to you for free.

This would be the most important place to start, whether you are going to be using SEO (search engine optimization) to drive traffic or paid traffic services.

Is your Niche/Topic going to solve a problem for your blog readers, will your blog readers pay to have their niche/topic problem solved?

Once you have done your niche keywords research, and figured out which niche is going to make you the most money online fast, then you can get information on the rest of the technical stuff you asked about on this video.

The most comprehensive one that I know of for someone that is new to niche blogging that doesn't know anything is Affiloblueprint by Mark Ling. I love the way he teaches the course -- by actually setting up a site from scratch.

There are many blog sites online that will teach you a lot about building your own niche blog!

One awesome site I recommend you to check out is NicheHacks.com .... the guy here knows his stuff and he teaches a lot!

Let me give you some good advice - there will be a lot to learn, so you must keep it simple!

So you do not get overwhelmed!

You can also learn a lot on building niche blogs here in the WF Forum!

Just use the search feature and take some time do some research. There are also good products in the WSO marketplace that can teach you a lot!

Just remember ..... you must take massive consistent action with everything you learn!

Do not expect fast results from little and slow work! .. you get what I mean!

Just make it happen no matter what!

Finding a niche is half the battle. After that, you need to post content related to that niche. And if you want to make money with it, you need to find a way to monetize it.

Your objective would actually dictate which course is better suitable for you..

If you are in it for a long haul, the courses you would need would be completely different than the ones that you would use if you just want to start making some easy money!

I would suggest you do some research and find a course from a good marketer.

Go and buy that course and implement it 200%. Stay away from the wso section after that. Don't get distracted as it will put you the info overload stage and then you are finished.

        Cheers
