technical question with Clickbank

Hi,
I have a website which is supposed to lead the customer to an ebook. Is it possible to host this ebook on Clickbank ? Should I host the ebook somewhere else like DPD or on my own FTP server ?
I saw some other product like mine. When the costumer click on the "buy button" he is redirected to the Clickbank order form which gives him access to the ebook after payement.
How to do that and where is the ebook hosted please ?

Thanks for your help.

The product is hosted on your own site. Clickbank is just the payment processor.

You can only use Clickbank as a payment processor you need to have a website already.

One of the problems of digital products is that anyone can download it for free if that page is indexed. If you are concerned about such problem, use dlguard or similar software/service.

No, they can't. Create a folder. No index the folder. Then add a blank index page inside the folder. This way nobody can view your files.

Hi, this solution seems to be pretty good. I tried to find tutorials which explain how to no index a folder and add a blank index page inside the folder. Do you know a tutorial perhaps ? Can you be more specific please ?

        Thanks.

It is a good solution as it means people can not search for your item, but if one customer shares the download link, then everyone can access it.

Hello everyone, we have been selling on Clickbank for a number of years and always found that protecting the product was just the tip if the iceberg and many other issues caused us to lose sales.
For example, we couldnt easily resell to the same customers unless we added them to an email list, only delivering products to confirmed customers required extra coding and support was usually done via clickbank tickets.
