Setting up a Study to Test Flea Product for Pets

I've invented a homeopathic remedy that repels fleas from cats. (Totally harmless and non-toxic)
The first 3 cats to test the remedy have had 100% success in eliminating fleas completely.
I now need to set up as field study to get statistics from a number of cats and from a number of households.

I obviously need cats and dogs who are already having a problem with fleas. Where to find them??
Facebook would probably be a good place? Thoughts?

Then, should I charge people a small sum to get the remedy or should it be free? I don't mind at all giving it away for free as long as the person is willing to keep records. But having testers pay a small sum would also weed out a lot of unserious prospects, and having some skin in the game is always a good thing. If I charge a small sum I could offer a one year supply at no charge once the trial period is up.. ??

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Anyone have a pet with fleas??

Thanks!

Evita

Offer free review products for a limited amount of time.

That's what Caboki did with a hair loss remedy in return for reviewing the product for free, and no obligations to purchase whatsoever.

It paid off in dividends, and that was last year...not some million years ago.

If you offer a solution to a niche, and give it away for free...those reviews will get your ball rolling pretty fast.

plus i'm pretty sure you won't find your target niche on here.

Find a forum more adapted to who you're targeting. Cat-related forum in your case. Those are your future clients!

Your best bet is to visit a local vet that will have owners that are into holistic medicine and be willing to try it out. On top of that, when it is done, you can give him/her an exclusive in the area for 6 months and you get an authority figure (the vet) giving your product a thumbs up.

Charging them a little fee and repelling uninterested one will save you a lot of energy at the end of the day but you would have to work more to get enough people who would pay, pros and cons!
