Hi Warriors, I just saw someone comment on their Facebook status that "Remember: it's not a decision if you haven't taken action." Good point! I'm pursuing offline marketing, but instead of focusing on local clients, I'm focusing on a couple of different industries nationwide and using Internet marketing to reach them. Tonight, I completed a free preview call for a teleseminar series I've created. I've done teleseminars before, but not a lot and not for a while. I didn't have very many people attend, but at least I wasn't talking to myself! :P It was very nervewracking. Like most Warriors here (unless you're a complete newbie) I KNOW how to help offline businesses generate business online. In fact, I know so much that I have "analysis paralysis." :P I've carefully mapped out the info and carefully mapped out my preview call. But I have SO much information to share, I had to be careful to touch on everything I'd promised in my preview call and not get into too much detail and drag out the call -- and lose everyone's attention. I got through it though. Even though it was a teleseminar, it was as nervewracking for me as speaking publicly in person! :P The good news is that I got an immediate return e-mail from one of the people on the call. She's actually not far from West Palm Beach where I live and she wants to meet just to connect and network. She said she really enjoyed the call and I kept her attention. I was terribly nervous but I must not have flubbed too badly. :P I really wish I'd had more people on the call, but at least I've gotten started with this new business model (which I've spent weeks and weeks preparing for). So I guess that's something. And I was so glad to get such a positive review of it as soon as it was over. The bad news is that I didn't record it. (Drat!) I really need someone to help me record it wih Audio Acrobat next time. I probably need a VA. I'm simply too primed and nervous to make sure it's being recorded and remember to push all of the extra buttons to record with Audio Acrobat when I'm hosting a call. Any volunteers from the WF? I can always go find a VA somewhere, but I figure that a Warrior would have a much better idea of what I'm doing, know what to do and therefore be much more helpful. But I got started and that's good. I've started over from scratch with building my list and while it's very tiny right now, it's a start. Time to get back to list-building! Michelle |

Thanks Steve! You're right about starting. I've more or less abandoned my old list as I wasn't very consistent with the e-zines and e-mails -- or anything else. I've finally settled on a business model (offline marketing) that I like and am starting from scratch again. It's a little disheartening to have such a tiny list again, but as others have said, it's not the size of your list but the strength of your relationship with them. For such a tiny list, I got such positive reviews and so I'm starting out with a good relationship. I just need to keep the ball rolling and not drop it like I did before.BTW, if anyone wants to take me up on my need for some virtual assistance with recording my calls, it's a PAID gig. I'm not asking for free help. So if you need a little cash and know how to record calls with Audio Acrobat, please contact me. ![]() Now, back to listbuilding! Michelle |

Michelle... Instead of paying someone to remember to hit the record button why not just make a note on your call outline... Step 1: Welcome people to the call Step 2: HIT RECORD BUTTON Really... it just needs to be worked into the routine. Tsnyder |

Way to go, congratulations, and hope for the best. You can get a VA here in this thread or in the WSO section.

You're right: it DOES need to be worked into my routine. However, recording with Audio Acrobat is a little more complicated than just hitting a RECORD button. You have to dial into a separate number and then dial in a pin # (if I remember correctly) to record. I've done it before, but was just wanting some help to take one more thing off my plate: mainly to make sure I didn't forget to do it and to make sure it was done correctly. Ah well... Guess I'll do it myself! Michelle |
