How to create a online contest??

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello Warriors. My current objective is simple, create a prize winning contest to displays to the masses; predominately the Unites States. The issue is I'm not entirely sure how to do so. Any suggestions?

Any and ALL input would be much appreciated. Throw all you got at me!!

The creation of a contest itself shouldn't be too hard provided you use a platform such as WordPress which has loads of plug-ins and themes.

A quick Google search returned a dedicated plugin for what you are wanting to achieve:

You can do it within facebook by using app mentioned above, no need to get any paid service for couple of fancy graphics

Do some research on the differences between lotteries, contests, sweepstakes, and gambling.
No matter what you do, have a clear rules page and state all of your rules. That's a must.

If you're wanting to do a giveaway contest, make sure it's clear that there is no purchase necessary.

If you're doing a paid contest, make sure it is decided on skill (not chance). I'd say don't even walk the line on this because some interpretations say even if chance plays a minor role (not 100% chance) it is still gambling. Have it be a solid skill contest like a sport or a photo contest, etc.

FYI, I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice! I've just done reseach before on the subject.
