Ok so am on the verge of starting my very first BIG project.
But problem is I need help from more experienced people.
My question is sort of strange but please keep open mind and try to help me out.
I need a list of legit free ways of advertising that anyone can do. By anyone I mean the average person who has no clue about IM but is smart enough to follow instructions.
Lets put it in this way. I got an clickbank review site and I have people who are willing to promote my site. They open youtube account and make videos promoting the products with a link to the site. That's one legit method but I need more, many more. I thought of forum posting but I don't know how legit that is and how much success it will have.
Hit me with ideas and thoughts, and please someone with experience or knowledge in this field pm me so that we can chat about it am open for any contributors or partners.

    Well one thing you can do is try a banner exchange to earn free banner advertising from your existing web traffic to promote your stuff. I recommend BannerExchange.net as it supports quite a few popular banner sizes (468x60, 125x125, 728x90, 160x600, 300x250)

    Forum posting is a great idea if you participate in topics you're interested in talking about and you provide quality content.

    Comment posting is also another great way of driving traffic. Find first page comment accepting sites and post helpful comment with your link.

    Forum posting is a good idea. More videos on Youtube is good. Do you have a blog and/or have started your own email list/email newsletter? You should mix some paid advertising into the mix also. You'll get alot of traffic much sooner than free, and it will let you know quickly if it's a niche worth staying in. And DON'T use traffic exchanges. Social media is a good outlet. You should consider using that also. And don't forget about creating new content for your site, and content to distribute throughout the web. Good luck.

    Well I think SEO is always free and last long method to drive plenty of organic traffic to your site. Just start working on it.

    Do a search on google and you can find out more free advertising forums or classified sites for free advertisement.

    Use Google and ask the relevant questions and then see what you find. I bet you'll get a ton of eBooks and articles on your subject.

      Free traffic takes a good amount of time for you to see significant results so just bear that in mind when waiting for the results of your efforts to show.

      Some methods you can look into would be blog posts, video posting, article writing, guest posting and forum posting. Search around the forum and you'll find plenty of guides explaining these topics.

    Forum posting may work for you up to some extent but you don't want to solely rely on it at all..

    Not sure; all other free advertising just very time consuming and ineffective.

    Forum advertising works but takes time. "Free" advertising is very difficult.
